Although it is made to look like the Compaq C series, it doesn't have the good Mouse-pad, HDMI-out and Lightscribe DVD writer.

And don't forget: W7 upgrade can cause problems, so if you don't have experience, you may have to pay someone to install it (If you are not a computer person, think of buying W7 installed)
win 7 upgrades can be a problem
Well I think this is a great deal!!! I have the Acer Aspire 5735Z.... reading the spec on the lable the only difference is, this has 4GB DDR2 Ram & Vista Basic BUT cost £350 from PCworld in September.

I wasn't a fan of Acer's nor the number pad on the side but after using it everyday from 8am till 10pm it feels strange to use anything else.

It's quick too... and touch wood nothings gone wrong yet.

The only down side is the screen which reflects everything!!! but the backlight is bright so can compensate.
Just looked at the pics & the keys are different.... They look like the cheap Advent we have in the office which you can't touch type on. The flat keys you can't feel for I find... but this might be better...... maybe :-)
