Hot from me - 4GB of DDR 3 RAM, 750GBHDD, 2.5GHZ 64bit Quad Core with 4mb L2 Cache and 1333mhz fsb, HDMI Out and a fairly decent Graphics card. Pretty good steal for £400.00

DDR3 800??? Lowish graphics card and onboard?? Motherboard and PSU classified. Not voted

Seems pricey for a fairly low-spec - not voted.

Anyone know if ebuyer are ok to buy from?

I'm trying to find a pc for my son who's off to uni and this looks not bad to me.

Ebuyer are one of the biggest (if not the biggest?) online retailer for PC gear, yes they're OK to buy from :)

Never had any problems with Ebuyer. Remember to always use a credit card when buying online.

Thanks for pointing us to a cheaper price, even if it is refurbished. I'm looking to buy something like that

£100 cheaper than the competition but even at this price it isn't particularly good value for money.

Bought this at the beginning of the year and it is a very good unit. Remember you will need a monitor on top of this price.

I think most people were thinking of using it without a monitor..... (_;)

I can't speak for your son, but I know most students would prefer the portability and convenience of a laptop that can easily be taken to lectures, labs, the library (and pub) and then home at the end of term

Normally yes, but he doesn't need to move it around at all and he doesn't like laptops either.:)

Can I play an mp3 on one of these?

seemed a decent price for a base power pc, i'm looking for a new desktop, not for gaming just for normal day to day use/HTS/video editing, i will be waiting till after xmas tho, unless a real bargain comes along..thanks
