Hi good deal this because I saw in the shop for 169.99
#4
What kind of refurbs do you think they'll be; customer returns or faulty ones which have been fixed?
#5
When you go the check out it comes up that it is 80GB HDD, maybe a misprint?
#6
12 month manufacturer warranty so cant be all; bad.Guess anything that can go wrong will show before 12 months is over especially if you use yours as much as me:thumbsup:

Hmmm maybe? but do you order and complain and demand a 120GB at that price .Not sure what the rights are in that case for a misprint

prob due to the fact it was cheaper from tesco and was brand new where as this is a used item and potentially a returned item that was not properly checked before resale. And also coule potentially have marked scratches and wear and tear. Its risky..ect.

Point taken and am aware of the tesco deal (which was great ) but some may have missed out and this is not a bad deal on its own.It is backed by a 12 month Manufacturers gaurantee.Granted there may be cosmetic marks but a refurbished machine would have been fully tested before re sell for the maker to back up the warranty. So on its own this is not a bad deal.

Same bit of kit on the Currys website - no delivery; so just the £129.99 price tag.

Nice!

true, its just a good deal just because it comes with the 12 month warranty. But people are not seeing it like that.

p.s indiacharlie fancy linking us to the deal on currys website?

Thats a stupid reason to vote cold. The ops attitude has nothing to do with the deal he/she is not benefiting from posting a deal. Other people are.... Like me and you. I think voting cold for that reason should get you stripped from the voting system for abusing the system.

Sorry just my 2p's worth

i'm gonna check this out

don't be too worried about the memory installation

i did it in an hour - would prob take 20 mins next time though

one hint - sketch the layout of the screws and put a dab of blu-tack where the screws are on the sketches so you know you're getting exactly the right screw for the job

good luck

HUKD is also a forum for listing deals and giving helpful advice.Whats the point of voting cold for rediculous reasons ! Vote cold by all means but give a reason because this may be valid and of help to those who use the forum for advice and information. Whats helpful about voting cold quoting "dont have to give a reason" ?????........Doh:roll:

I was taking the **** out of mecoconuts. I usually vote cold or hot for specific reasons if i'm not interested in the item i usually skip. I made the exception on mecoconuts post as he was being an ass.... but i guess that makes me the same as him... oh well
#32
still available on the currys website....

i'm tempted but think i'll hold off - the 512mb ram would need upgraded and opening the case to do this would knacker the warranty on what is already a refurb.
