Seems to be a few units available on laptopsdirect and partner sites. For £570 the system is quite a good buy for a prebuilt gaming PC. Graphics card still holds up strong about a £200 value, CPU is £170 value, 8gb ddr4 £60 value, Motherboard estimate £60 value, 2tb hard drive £70 value, power supply £40 value, case £40 value, optical drive £15 value, Windows License £20 value dependent on your source.
That comes to £675 value not considering the fact it is from a system manufacturer so no building your self and you will get some warranty for the system as whole.

Hope this is useful for someone.

Is a Refurb but retail for this was £1000, can still be found at currys/pcworld for £900 sale price.

Would you wanna pay retail on this it's £1000, or sale price at currys is £900.

values are on the high side. PC is basic with very little future proofing.

How are values on the high side? CPU is 177 at novatech, 185 at Ebuyer, 970s sell for £200 or just short on eBay as used, a Socket 1151 Motherboard is at a minimum £50 unless on sales ranging up to 100+ dependant on features. How can it not be future proof, hardware is still current and powerful.

Why would you even buy from Currys/PC World? Their prices are atrocious

check out partpicker, you can build a PC with those components for less than £300. This is massively overpriced.

O.o Less than £300?

Seems like a decent price if you don't mind second hand.

Not a bad price for the components but the i5 is the weaker one for skylake and clocks at 2.7ghz. The Gtx 970 is around 140-170 used on eBay, 200 is an exceptional price and given the Gtx 1060 is 205 recently only a fool would buy at that price.

It is ok, but only 3m warranty too, refurb.., makes the price tag a bit more understandable.

The rig is going to be OK for a few years for 1080p gaming at ultra settings.

With ryzen round the corner I'd personally wait to see the prices and performance before committing to a new rig.

Finally a matter of aesthetics but the case be ugly..,

Not sure what the he'll is going in with that case, but if you're sticking it under a desk, then it's not an issue.

I think this is a decent deal if you want a pre-built pc that you can game on. I can't put the build together for any less.

Right you seem to be blind to your own deal so I'll explain why this deal is going cold.

not future proof because as far as I can see it doesn't tell you what mobo this is so buying a k series CPU would be pointless cause you probably won't be able to overclock.

the gtx 970 at £200??? get a better/newer card for that.

power supply is rated as what? probably couldn't handle a future more powerful g/card.

does this case support USB 3.1 or USB type c?

this PC is basically used as there's only 3MONTH warranty. so stop treating these parts as new.

Thought this was hot until I saw it was a refurb. Might want to add that to the title.
#17
Cold. Should have return in title for sure, misleading.

Horrible case, the outside looks fine but inside there is 1 fan no room for any more and no ventilation, not sure what they were thinking using it for a gaming pc
