Looks like a good price for this monitor. Been looking at the X34a, but can't quite justify the price (or the necessary GPU upgrade!) to myself at the moment.

I've also been torn between going ultrawide and high refresh rate. This looks like it could be the best of both worlds being easier to drive than the 3440x1440 X34a and overclocks to 200hz which should give a great experience with G-SYNC. Pixel density should still be OK compared to something like the Z35 which is 2560x1080 on a 35" display.

Got this yesterday and I'm loving it so far! Great colours and have tested Rocket League, CSGO & Forza 3 at 120hz & 200hz and it works great!

It's the same PPI as a 24" 1080p monitor. It's nearly identical to two 24" 1080p monitors side by side with regard to size and PPE.

I've got the Z35 and I wholeheartedly recommend the ultrawide resolution. It's a dream <3

Once you go ultrawide you never go back

And yet has nowhere near as many pixels and is more expensive than just buying 2 1080p monitors.

How did you manage that?

Bought a curved Acer 34" 3440 1440 75hz for 600 just days ago. 1080p 30" I'd expect this to be like £300
