Nice find, heat added for posting, don't get deceived by Celeron, it's capable and fast enough for many basic stuff X)

Not too bad, think I should pull my finger out and put on sale my Acer i7-3rd gen rather than it sitting there!

I would say it compares very well considering Dell cancelled quite a lot of customers orders without telling them.
A deal is only a deal if it's honoured, Dell has the worst customer service I have ever come across.

Just about to buy this laptop, but just worried about the processor... is it really that bad? Just need the laptop to teamviewer into my PC when I'm not at home, so should be fine for that right? as my home PC will be doing all processing etc. Advice on this would be great, thanks!

It would definitely be fine for that, Celeron would only be a problem if running virtual machines and such as some virtualisation features might be turned off. Otherwise it is fast enough for fullhd movies and anything else except demanding games.

Reviews suggest that the fan is pretty much always on and it gets warm so not so sure about this.

Received this laptop today, had it on for past 5 hours, including watching a movie, the fan is uber quiet if not inaudible and the thing isnt even luke warm. Picture is sharp too. Seems great for the money
