Cheap, but very low-res, so not really a bargain. Two years too late.

The resolution is 720p! how is that very low. On a screen this size you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

So I have no idea what you mean by that and I'm guessing you don't either

My 6 year old Dell TFT has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024. It cost £85. I would imagine this is the point Bytemaster is trying to make. I probably wouldn't call it HD, though technically the resolution it outputs, is.

I think 1366 x 768 is the norm for this size screen, which in reality, seems to offer much less useable screen real estate compared to a 4:3 traditional 19" monitor.

I'm not too sure what to make of the 720p reference tbh. When talking about monitors, that kind of language is usually only seen when being talked at in Currys, along with words like full HD and gold plated HDMI cables.

A hot deal nonetheless :)

As someone previous mentioned, it has a terrible resolution, 1366 x 768 on a 18.5" monitor.

@Jonny, on TV's no the difference between HD and (for example) FHD is barely noticable on a screen this size, however when it comes to monitors it definitely is. This is for a variety of reasons, there is a lot more fine detail to be shown when using a computer and especially a lot of text, having a FHD resolution (1920 x 1080, 1920 x 1200) without make the text visibly clearer, especially when you are only sat a couple of feet away from the screen.

Have you ever used a computer with anything more modern than a character based interface (think DOS or UNIX cli)?

I am currently using a laptop with a 1600 x 900 display, together with a secondary monitor of 1920 x 1080. Hence my comment that 1366 x 768 is a low resolution. I certainly do know what I mean, and I would think that most others would. However its seems that you are blissfully detached from reality, and you even confuse 720p with 768. I suggest that prior to making future disparaging comments, you check the facts.

The only thing that has been proven is that you need help, what a rather strange individual.
