Hot from me, just bagged 2 for a dual setup

Is the difference quite obvious between a monitor with resolution 1280 x 1024 pixels and one with 1366 x 768 pixels, assuming all else equals?
#5
And how does this compare with the following? Is the following worth an extra tenner?

I bought one of these 18" jobbies for my son as he'd been faffing around with just an old 15" TFT. I was rather disappointed. It's got exactly the same vertical resolution as the 15" TFT (in other words far too little to look at web pages or edit documents effectively) with an extra bit on the side. It may be okay for watching videos and playing some games, but otherwise rather disappointing. I really wish that I'd paid a bit more for at least 1000 vertical resolution.

So, whilst this is cheap for what you are getting, I would strongly recommend not buying it if you want to do any serious work on it. I'd happily swap it for a 1280 x 1024 TFT screen.

Well for one thing they are a different Aspect Ratio the 1280x1024 is an old style 5:4/4:3 square-ish and the 1360x766 is 16:9 "letterbox"

This has the same resolution as a 11.6" "netbook".

Far too low a resolution for most people in my opinion. It's a cheap price for a reason. Far better spending the extra to get a 1600x900 or even a 1920x1080 screen. Much more useful in the long run.

will a revo fix to the back of this?
