@H.Maleki
have you noticed any down-sides?
a list of pro's and con's would be useful! ;-)

is this any better than the fujitsu one posted a few weeks ago?
seems like it has slightly worse viewing angles and it's more expensive..?

I bought the fujitsu one and it is a great monitor, definitely a bargain for the price at the time.

It is unfortunately not available at that price now, so you can only really compare the price of this monitor with similar specced monitors that are available which makes this a nice price.

The fujitsu is lacking in the contrast department though, this one quotes 2500:1 which is obviously dynamic. It would be nice to know what its real contrast ratio is because if it is better than the fujitsu it would be worth paying the extra for imo

I got a Acer X223W 22 inch silver from my local PC World for £130 the other week which granted doesn't have an HDMI port like this (only VGA) but is very similar in specs to this.

Just thoguht I would post so others know decent 22" widescreen TFT monitors don't have to cost over £150

160 is 80° to each side so not exactly narrow. That's at the point where the contrast ratio has dropped to 10:1 though and says nothing about colour shift - don't think it's the point where the picture starts to distort.

Anyone who has bought one care to comment?

A reviewer on Amazon seems to think the screen size is less than the advertised 22". He estimates 19.5". Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Thanks.

Probably meaning you get less screen size as it's widescreen. Forget estimating, why doesn't he measure it?

I was wondering the same thing myself.

Is there any review anywhere?
Can you connect a PS3 to this?

From the comments I think a PS3 will work on 1080P HD, as for a review I searched google and found the first one:
http://www.prad.de/en/monitore/review/2007/review-acer-x222w.html
You have to press next to see the other parts of the review.

Anyway the monitor it self has gone up £10 so should this be expired?
