Nice to look at, but the specs are pretty poor for the money.
Guessing you're just paying a premium for the touch screen, which you'll soon get tired of using as a mouse is quicker, easier, and removes the need to wipe your screen down every 5 minutes to get rid of finger prints.

The other downside to this rather than having a traditional PC is the fact that if anything goes wrong, you have to ship the whole thing back to them for repair, rather than them just sending out a replaceable part.

the specs on theses sort of machines are poor for the money, we have the lesser spec processor version for 125 quid less than this and its pretty impressive, the screen quality is excellent and the touch side of it is alot better than i expected, nowhere near compares to my ipad2 but impressive nonetheless. the built in freeview with recording is excellent and the acer touch portall is decent aswell.. we got ours for a general pc in the kitchen and its perfect in that enviroment... and Angry Birds works with touchscreen, pretty awesome playing it on 23" HD..

so yes pricey for spec but not for design and features.

not for the actual touch technology there isnt(IMO), I spent hours in the shops and eventually got it down to iPad2, acer transformer and motorola xoom and of course id have preferred the delicious Honeycomb and I am not a fan of Apples restrictions but when it came down to it the iPad2 was just quicker to use....

That aside all I was comparing is the touch technology, nothing else.. now leave it 'right X)
