Got the 26" version last year. Good unit.

What's with the sudden onslaught of cheap TV's/Monitors...
#3
I have the 32inch version of this bought last year for £329.99, which has a lower resolution at 1366x768...;-) Lol, anyways - mine doesn't come with freeview but the quality is really good over RGB and acoustic solutions tend to include connections galore, mine has 2 hdmi, 1 vga, 1 component, and erm...2 scarts and 3 rca's? HD Xbox 360 and component PS2 looks really nice on it, you get so used to it that SD looks worse.

The sky remote code can be tricky though, you need a revision 8 model (for a regular sky remote) and the code that worked for me was 0206.

This would make a really good monitor/tv combo for a bedroom or office. Plus Argos are really good when it comes to returns.

How do you know what revision of the sky remote you've got?

Take the battery case off and it's written just above the batteries. Rev.6 will not work on acoustic solution tv's, I know from having to use two remotes for over a year...

I bought this in January for £149 and it's a great TV! Easy to use remote, good picture and sound - you can't go wrong for this price! Ideal for the bedroom or spare room - heat added!

This was listed here on Hukd' about 7-8 months ago for the same price.

I bought one then, and it is a very good set for the price.

we'll all have flatscreens in every room soon
#15
anyone know the cable / connector arrangement at the back? will this allow true flush wall mounting? A lot of TV's have the connectors pointing straight out at the back so preventing a flush mount?

I'm waiting till 26" lcds break the £99 mark. What do you reckon - May 2009?
#17
Can this be used with a desktop pc as well?

Which one would be better, this or the £82 19" monitor from ebuyer?

Thanks

Shame no DVD included, won't be long until they'll be that price!

I got a similar model to this but in silver from Argos last year, after I saw it posted on here (Acoustic Solutions, £129.99, 19" W/S but in silver). I find that the picture and sound quality is good. Two slight downsides though. The digital interface (navigating the TV guide, changing channel) is quite slow, which becomes quite annoying if you like channel hopping. Also, when on digital, the sound is quite loud, even on "1" on the volume level (I have tried changing the sound profile i.e. "Personal", "Voice" etc. and it's still the same).

All of the connections are at the bottom of the set, in a recessed cavity, pointing straight down........To allow for Flush mounting; it seems like a good design.

Manbag is correct, it does seem quite loud....

And they only had silver when I got mine too.

How do you get to the digital/freeview guide as mine doesn't have an option on the remote?
