I use both of these products and the only difference is price.

Both work well, if used properly. I say that as you often see folk slate various backup software when you personally know it does its job.

gave up with 2010 as it failed most of the time when testing backups. Nothing worse than backup software that states a successful archive has been created only to find it has problems when you come to use it!

Only the 2009 version is free from WD, and it is only basic. Cannot clone partitions.
