If it's like my £30 GoPro wannabe, it'll work, but no matter how high the resolution is, it'll be more grainy than a box of cat litter.

They literally can't be at that price. Check out the specs. 1080p is only 15 frames per second.

These are good for attaching to bikes. The quality is good enough for court proceedings. I got some great footage of being hit by a van..

1080 @ 15fps is not great quality but then again it's not an expensive action/sports camera
720 @ 30fps will be OK for most use

As per OP's selling point

I agree. It is not in any way shape of form a good camera but at that price, it can be treated as a toy and for mucking about with 720p is fine.

This guy has some footage up. 1080p is as suspected pretty awful but 720p would get the basics done.

I'm not sure why this has gone cold as it is just so cheap.

It's probably gone cold because
a - the seller (one or two have had bad experiences from Gearbest & similar - I've never had an issue)
b - it's 1080 @ 15fps and people/geeks expect these things to conform to their high standards but don't mind spending £800 on the latest Iphone

In other words and in plain English - zero common sense

I've never had an issue with Gearbest either

Anybody recommend a decent 1080p that gives quality footage please.

Unsurprisingly double will get you a really good action cam... But double is only. 30quid. Voted hot as @720 these are fine as cheap bike/dash/quadcopter cams
