I posted comments on this one above. I bought one on Saturday from ASDA. Good value and plays the "Thomas Tank Engine" wooden engines.
Better value than the ELC version which is £180 (£144) in the sale although not Thomas Branded.
It's a christmas present but I reckon my little boy will love it!

Got this last year in Argos - looks identical.

Most played with toy in the house. 2.5yr old & 6yr old both climb on top of it on a daily basis and it's as strong as ever. We reversed the baseboard and covered it in Fablon, then stuck a load of wooden track onto it with No More Nails so that it didn't keep breaking up with bridges etc, and it looks fab!

It's also the perfect size to fit 3 of the large plastic storage boxes that they sell in Poundstretcher underneath to store trains etc in - really practical.

Does anyone know the weight and dimensions for the box with contents,
I live in spain and will have to have it delivered. The courier services need these details and I think the ones given on Asda page are for item after its built up. Also no weight is given.
Many thanks

Hi ellen1

If you still want to know the weight and dimensions let me know as I bought it for my son.It doesn't have them on the box but I can measure & weigh it for you if you want?
