Thanks, ordered. Do they take payment instantly or when it's been dispatched?

What devices can this be used for? Doesn't look like a normal internal ssd drive.

Anything with an m.2 port, read the description

Because a usual internal SSD would use S-ATA. This uses the new format known as M.2. You have to have a motherboard that supports M.2.

If you order a couple, then probably yes.

Well, not quite anything: this 2280 so the slot has to be able to take 80mm devices (should only be a problem for ultrabooks and so on).

odered two. doubt we will get them though.
#17
Ordered 2, got £1.50 with student discount as well... will wait for the cancellation email...

If im not mistaken Amazon only take payment upon dispatch, so no risk here really
#19
ordered a couple, if we get them it'll be one for OS and one for my laptop, cheers OP, legendary find!

Worth a shot.

Clearly a mis-price but best of luck guys :)
#22
Ordered a few. I think we will be extremely lucky to get them at this price. I know amazon are generally decent with misprices but I can't see them being willing to lose this much per item but I guess you never know.

If it happens though I will have to get a new motherboard as neither of my PCs have M2 ports unfortunately but would probably be worth it for a nice 480GB SSD....
#23
manged to order, saw it early via twitter, fingers crossed.

It's SATA based http://www.adata.com/upload/downloadfile/Datasheet_SP550%20M.2%202280_EN_20160621.pdf

Make sure your motherboard supports SATA type M.2 SSDs, some motherboards only work with PCI-e type M.2 SSDs.

Hey OP,

I ordered one of these for my HP G4 i5-6200U, which came with a 128GB M2 SSD, so if Amazon honour it, I would be so delighted indeed!

Fantastic find OP, many thanks :)
#26
Lol !!! they have now raised the price to £115, so for all those that ordered may get it as its only been on ukhd for a couple of hours , so there cannot be that much ordered before they changed price. Plus a while back I got a mis priced monitor in same situation from Amazon and they honoured it but who knows this time ? Good find op :D

Either way it's not true.

Not a chance of getting these.

I've still ordered of course though :D

dispatched.

Definitely fibbing, I ordered within a few minutes of the deal going live with prime next day delivery and none of them are dispatched or even preparing to, it's impossible for them to be sent yet when they don't have any in stock!

Price now £115... Get ready for the cancel emails. . .

Well, to make you more wishful, or however you call it in english - Amazon sent 480 GB (750 GB actually!) Crucials for ~50 GBP a couple of weeks ago so there's still a chance though a price bug seems to be bigger here. As pals above - keeping my fingers crossed for all of you even though I was too late here ;)

EDIT. Sorry! They were 750 GB SSDs, not 480 GB!

Damn missed it!
At this price it'd be worth getting a pile of sata -> m2 adapters!
#35
crap missed it :(
#36
I ordered one a few minutes after this was posted on HUKD.

Fingers crossed it comes through!
#37
I ordered a couple yesterday before this went on HUKD. Not a chance that these will ever ship but handy for ordering a few other add-on bits and bobs that I do want.

Always worth putting those add-on items in your basket and taking advantage of these misprices to get them without spending £20.
#38
In stock now but at £118

Anyone get any dispatch emails?
#39
Hmm, ordered two yesterday on my Prime account, and today they've gone off my account, no emails, no calls nothing at all - seems Amazon are doing the usual "deny all knowledge" act...

Just got cancellation email...
