You need to revise your post as this is not the "Official" ball for the world cup - it's a replica. I can see you've added replica to the title but it says official in the post. Don't want to mislead people thinking Rooney and Co. will be playing with a ten pound ball from Argos! The official ball costs around £80

It also doesn't say which weight of ball it is. There are at least 4 full size versions of this ball, the world cup match one, the official training one given to the squads, the replica, which is the same weight and colour as the first 2, but made more cheaply, and the light junior ball, which is the same as the replica, only even cheaper, and lighter. It'll be one of the last 2, but there's no way to tell which.

Personnally I think the title is fine. I think if you think its the official £80 ball your a bit of a muppet, it clearly states replica aswell as obviously the cheaper one. The work 'official' simply states its the actual style of the ball used.

It's got Jabulani on it so it's official merchandise alright. But FIFA describe it as:
"Training ball that looks like adidas' official 2010 FIFA World Cup match ball."

Surely that's a different ball? The Argos one has the Jabulani panels not standard hexagons/pentagons.

Edit: from that site it would be this ball: http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&query=Jabulani&N=0&Product_Id=529017

Indeed, and as the one you found is $40, this deal would appear to be steaming hot.

Same as the one sold in sportsdirect I guess for £12.99

Yes quality ball

I have a feeling this is the cheapest one, the panel joins look tigher on the other one, but maybe it's just the lighting.

I got one last week for £8 in sports and soccer (sportsworld)

My son has this ball and I must admit that I look forward even more to the kick abouts because of it.

It's got a great feel to it!!

this is an OK price. To bring some light into what quality might be expected:

This is "fifa inspected" ball it needs to pass some fifa tests, you can find such footballs in the range £8-£20. Another level is "fifa approved", those usually start over £20.

Played with this ball today. (Good job it wasnt plural. That would have been hard to work.)

Suffice to say, these things are horrible. Its like kicking a fly-away kid's ball. It can go anywhere. And the effort you put behind the ball never returns. You hit it hard, and it just doesnt rasp like, say, the Premier League ball.

Adidas really flopped on this one, Im afraid. Good deal. Sh*t ball.
