What absolute c**p. Why is it the worst football ever... because it's too round? :s Are you just trying to look like you're informed because you saw something on the news about it during the WC?

Voting cold is just silly, you're not Ronaldo, you're not going to be trying to swerve it in to the top corner from 40 yards. As it's a replica I very much doubt it's even designed/manufactured the same way as the official Jabulani anyway. Be realistic, for under £7 it's a decent looking ball for kicking round a park.

Hot deal thanks! Bought one of these for the lad during the world cup at £13. Managed to get the last one anywhere near me though.
#5
brilliant, thanks, my son will be over the moon
#6
Not in stock in my area, my 2 sons would have loved this :(

No, because it's too light.

Decent price for a kickabout ball though.

disagree, I have bought a few of these for my son, and for our 5 a side team. I think they are great, although I haven't ever kicked a real one... I think they are £100ish.

I have also bought a couple of the new prem balls too, and apart from the Jabulani being bigger, the spongy light feel is the same.
#9
Good deal but seems to be no stock in the North East :(
#10
too round.
#11
Nice
#12
£6.99 for a penny floater, not sure, so wont vote.
#13
Is this actually the £60 jabulani?

edit:

Considering it used to be £14.99, I guess that's a no. Its a normal ball with the jabulani decorative design.

Is this the same one that argos were selling for £9.99 for ages..? I know there are different ones kicking about etc.

If it is then, I`m off for a couple. Have been using them for a couple of months now and find they are great for a kick around etc.

Everyone was moaning about this ball except the Krauts.... they had been practising with it for months beforehand and had no problem with it! everyone else was just unprepared.
#16
haha why are people commenting like this is the actual world cup ball saying its awful & light etc??? its a REPLICA!!! the actual ball sells for close to £100

This is just a standard football with world cup ball colours lol
#17
This is worst football ever, because it's a replica.

Precisely. And the actual jabulani ball is actually very good. Most people haven't really played with official match balls and so the jabulani would be a massive step up,

Played with some form of Jabulani ball for first game of the season at the weekend, no idea which version it was but it was definitely not good! it sounded like a beach ball when kicked and it did seem to move about in the air more than other ball!
Still.... for that price cant really complain.....

Edited By: Bluearmy01 on Sep 09, 2010 12:25: Its still hot....
#22
Replica? That means they're probably better than the real deal.
#23
How can a ball be 'TOO' round??? Its not like its the 'real' ball is it?
Knobs.

I played with a genuine Jabulani ball when I was out in SA following England for the world cup, and can honestly say it made no difference to my limited skills.
#25
people slagging off a £6.99 ball have real issues! haha cracks me up

Erm, tbh I'm not sure what the price is for the average ball. But voting hot to counter some of the silly comments/cold voting.
#27
Cold because if you're going to buy a standard PVC football, you may as well get this for £3.99.

Why would anyone want a replica of a rubbish ball?

Voted cold.

How is that comparative thats like getting a really dear and cheap car and going oh but they both do the same, for an extra £3 its probably worth it, a)Addidas is considered better b)Puma, I've never seen anybody in Puma for about five years.

This ball is perfect for a kick around, going to get one and replicas are nothing like the real thing, I've played with a real Geo Merlin9old Premiership ball) and the difference is not that much unless you're a top player, top player top balls, average and bad players get this.

Clearly there are some uninformed divs around! This ball isn't manufactured using the "Ultra round" production process, it isn't even made from the same materials, so it is niether too round or too light. Just a decent ball to play at the park/5 a side etc. It is way better than the heavy cheap £2 Umbro balls you find in the bins at Sports direct anyway! Good deal hot!
#31
These balls are strange, but certainly nothing 'wrong' with them.

They play absolutely fine, but your head says they won't when you kick them and hear the noise they make. It sounds like a garage £1 ball, but plays absolutely perfectly.

I personally still prefer some of the other balls around the £15 mark (the RRP for this replica), as they feel a little better for my liking and I like the softness of a moderately decent finish (the Nike balls are quite good IMO).

Good price, can't complain - not for £7 anyway!
#32
If you want a replica, at least get one with similar panels to the real thing like these:

Uno, Dos, Tres

The only thing Jabulani about this is the design; reasonable price for a okay football though.
#33
Best Addidas balls were these

It's no coincidence that this joke of a ball made this world cup probably the worst on record. For the clueless clowns saying the Germans were prepared (no sh!t sherlock) adidas are a GERMAN company and the dominant force in the Bundesliga. I can just image the FA asking the premier league if they can stop using massively sponsored matchballs just so England players can get a feel for the new beach ball to be used at the world cup....yeah right. Never will FIFA allow such a match ball **** up ever to happen again. Freezing cold

Okay you are totally clueless, every nation was invited to a meeting about this ball when it was announced, half of them didn't bother turning up.

Bundesliga clubs could choose what ever football they wanted to play with at home, so if they wanted to use a £3 Umbro they could of.

This is a crappy replica not the real thing, it's a £3 ball with a pattern on it, it's a great deal for the price.

Wife bought one for our boy unfortunetly when trying to put it in her carrier bag.........she missed!

P.S - Obviously this ball was the reason why we didnt win the world cup.............oh!................sorry...........I meant the reason why we never won was because our players had no balls at all!

Lets face it these players are only on 40k a week you cant expect them to cope with a new football most of them cant remember their name.
