Why not give Born Free money direct and cut out the profiteering by WHSmiths:

Current appeals for:
HELP SAVE THE TIGER
THE SATPUDA HILLS, CENTRAL INDIA
Together, Born Free and local people have come up with some creative solutions to
help save the tiger. Forest Guards protecting tigers need support. A mobile health
unit can take doctors and medical aid to remote villages. An education unit can raise
awareness about conservation. Locals can be encouraged to report poaching, and
legal support can ensure wildlife enforcement cases are brought to court.

HELP SAVE THE GORILLA
KAHUZI BIEGA NATIONAL PARK, DRC
Kahuzi Biega’s brave park rangers work in tough conditions with minimal
equipment or support. ‘Risking their lives’ is no glib expression. Since 1994
more than 150 rangers have been killed in Eastern DRC as they try to protect
the gorillas. This can’t continue. With your help, Born Free will provide the
heroic rangers with the support they need to do their jobs and help save the
gorilla.

I bought this on Sunday - delivered Tuesday - I got free delivery as I bought other 'adoption' presents. Its alright saying just give money straight to the charity but this gift is an opportunity to get another person interested. My niece will love this elephant for her birthday and maybe the message will stick with her.

Well done for making people aware of the offer.
