As the title says. And anyone that knows football KNOWS this is a brilliant deal.

Tickets for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United games at Ewood are regularly at £30+ separately, and depending on where you sit. And away, I know a ticket to see Blackburn at Old Trafford is about £50.

So, come the second half of the season, from 28th December vs. Sunderland, Blackburn Rovers are practically giving away tickets to other fantastic games for the price of the big three.

Full List of teams to be played at Ewood Park included in this package:

Sunderland
Fulham
Wigan Athletic (local derby)
Hull City
Bolton Wanderers (local derby)
Birmingham City
Chelsea
Everton
Arsenal

£99 price is for unreserved seating in the WEC Darwen End, apart from the United game, which Im not 100% sure about. Its possible that the United game isnt included in the £99 deal.

Prices around the stadium are:

'Walkersteel' Blackburn End (Family Stand): £109
Jack Walker End (Wings): £155
Jack Walker End (Central, under the TV Cameras): £185

If any other Premier League team does a deal as cheap as this, I will eat the socks I am wearing right now.

Ticket is advertised as being available at http://www.OneRovers.co.uk, the Ewood Park Ticket Office, or over the phone.

(EDIT: Slight update to this, given some details are sketchy. The Blackburn Rovers Messageboard has a post up confirming that the United game IS NOT included in this Half Season Ticket, and you will have priority to a ticket when they go on sale. But you will have to pay separate for the United ticket. CHELSEA AND ARSENAL ARE STILL INCLUSIVE IN THE PRICE OF THE HALF SEASON TICKET.)

EDIT -3/12/09: Okay. More info.

The Blackburn End Upper INCLUDES the United game, however has the small term of 'one adult AND one junior ticket to be purchased together.' Junior prices are £39 for the first, £35 for the second.

There is no Direct Debit option for the £99 Darwen End or the £109 Blackburn End Upper tickets.

The £155 and £185 deals in the Jack Walker Stand (Wings and Central respectively) DO carry a Direct Debit option, the first of which is a £42.50 deposit, then three payments of £42.50 thereafter, totaling £170 for DD. The second is £50 deposit, with three £50 payments thereafter, totaling £200.

So, it looks like Ill be going for the Darwen End deal after all, with the option of a seat at the Man Utd game for an extra fee.

Small print says the following:

*£99 & £25 half season tickets unreserved seating in the WEC Group Darwen End Stand excludes Man United fixture.
#2
is a great deal-when I look at the fixtures and compare this to the 170 quid half season rangers and celtic want up here it truly makes you see what a joke Scottish football has become.
#3
In that, though, you get the Old Firm derby. And theres a few more games up there than down here, isnt there?

I can guarantee you, if Blackburn vs. Burnley was included in this set of fixtures, the ticket itself would be bumped up by £30. Luckily, thats been and gone. :)
#4
decent deal bearing in mind they are ripping us (sunderland fans) off by charging us £35 for a ticket for blackburn vs sunderland.
#5
Christ! The Liverpool game alone for Home fans starts at £28. Not sure were £35 is coming in. Maybe Sunderland have bumped it up by a fiver to make some income from it?

EDIT: Just saw the heat for this go DOWN. Incredible.
#6
wow great deal that
#7
Cracking deal....

If i lived closer id have got it even though i dont support any of them...
#8
Brilliant deal, If I lived closer I would go just to watch some Premiership football!

Probably because the title is very misleading as the united game is not included for £99

totally agree with you mate i'm a dundee united fan half season tickets start at £190 for adults :oops:

top deal for ewood - been there a few times my uncle is a Blackburn fan
#23
The BIG downside here is that Blackburn are one of the teams you have to watch!;-)
#24
No prizes for guessing my faith however, well done Blackburn. Show the rest of the EPL how to bring the fans in.
#25
Not at all a Rovers fan, but come on, this is still Premiership football and as such is a great deal. Don't quite get why there are detractors with the "you'd have to pay me ...." line.

They need to pay them extortionate agent's fees somehow mate. ;-)
#27
While this is a good it's also sad that a big town like Blackburn, that's wants to become a city infact, struggles to attact supporters to watch it's Prermier League football club. Good on those of you who do go but there's also a lot of you who are letting your club down.

To be honest, Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan all offer superb deals on season tickets as fans are few and far between. With the North West being the Premiership Heartland, 8 teams seperated by 30 miles, then clubs that don't sell out the ground have to give very generous offers to entice fans back.

Premiership football is now becoming cheaper than Championship football as fans are turned away by high prices and poor quality football. Any incentive to get fans back to games should be applauded., So well done to Blackburn Rovers; but, as a Bolton fan, I still hope you get relegated!

You may be right here, actually. EDITED: main post to reflect.
#30
£50 to see blackburn at old trafford? for the top priced ticket maybe but you can get tickets for £27
#31
£3 cheaper than a student rate 1/2 season ticket to watch Sheff Wed in the Championship, £100 cheaper than the cheapest adult 1/2 ST. Heat added.

Confirmed: United game is NOT included in the price. Sorry for the miss-information guys. I thought with their crest being printed on the advert, that it was included. Looks like you will get priority to the tickets when they go on sale, but they will cost you extra. Its also possible that the prices underneath the box with the logos in them might include it, but its doubtful, and I cant find out until the bloody Message Board decides to work again. Rep added to those who brought it to our attention.

obviously they aren't going to include the utd game in the deal as all the part time rovers fans turn up for that one ;-)

"you've only come to see utd"
#35
Works out good for the club. If they can squeeze £30 out of each person, and fill the stadium for a game that United are guaranteed to win, then its understandable.

Still, the one thing I dont get is why the United badge is on that advert...
#36
Looks like a good deal to me, I'm of the opinion that they might as well sell em cheap to fill the ground, rather than having a half empty stadium. The Rams do a similar thing.
#37
You do get the Man Utd game if you pay a bit more and go for the £109 package.

You're joking right?

You do realise Rovers have one of the highest attendance / population ratio's in the Premier League along with Burnley?

Blackburn has a population of around 105,000 and an average attendance this season of around 25,000. We also have Manchester United, Manchester City, Burnley, Bolton, Wigan, Liverpool and Everton in the Premier League alone in the are for competition.

Although the ground may have empty spaces we are one of the best supported teams around all things taken into account.

Well said. Competition is rife and we do well to fill it as much as we do. Sure, not every seat has a bum on it, but the amount that do is a credit to the club.
