None in Colchester, Clacton or Ipswich and postage is a little expensive, plus I already have this, mate of mine got it with his boys DS Lite as a bundle game, I sold him a flash card so he didn't need it, thus selling it to me for a tenner :
Good price so repping but not voting hot due to Comet's rubbish stock levels.

I know what you mean... I'm getting all the luck with Comet today - managed to get this reserved and Lair for the PS3! Gonna pop down there and pick them up now...

That's the Teesside Park (Stockton) store, folks!
#7
Birmingham Perry Barr got it!
#8
Thanks, I just reserved one - a great deal !
After all the trouble I had with the Golden Compass package though, I probably shouldn't have bothered......lol. :)
#9
Just got mine now! Ch-ching!!

They only had 1 left in the Teesside Park store, that I could see, unless there were more out the back.

Also had Lair, Genji and Simpsons on PS3 for £9.99, and Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Top Spin 2 on 360 for £4.99!

Some good buys in Comet at the mo!

No sign of Simpsons on their website though, is it in store only?
It used to be on the website, link is Here , but now it takes you to the "Sorry cant find this "page!

If so I might have to take a trip down there tomorrow after college, lol.

Yea, I know - I looked as I was gonna post it as a deal, heheh!

Must be in-store only... I'd have bought it, but I've already completed it on the 360. Not a bad game, like... worth a tenner!
#13
none instock on any 3 Comet stores near me;-)
#14
Paid £28 on launch day and after I finished it within a week I stopped playing it lol. Great game, if I had a Comet store near me I'd certainly go looking for it especially at this ridiculous price.
#15
got this baby reserved for tomorrow
#16
excellent price, voted hot :)
#17
One of my fave DS games - excellent deal.
#18

Best DS deal in ages - voted hot
#20
Paid £15 couple of months ago for this, good game!

Hot deal
#21
Woooooooooooooah. Amazing price.

But not available to collect in the stores near me. :(
#22
As said above an excellent game for an excellent price.
This has got to be the best game for the least money going for the DS.
#23
Just noticed I could have gone through Quidco for this, and got 4.5% cashback... it's only a few pence, but it all adds up!

#24
As already stated, excellent game for an excellent price. I snapped up 2 copies thinking I could get some decent trade-in at the likes of Game or GameStation but found out they're only offering £7 and £6 respectively :(

Anyone know what Blockbuster are offering...?

Is there no CEX near you? - they're giving £16 trade, or £10 cash....

Also, if you manage to get a print-out of the £7 from Game, Gamestation will beat it by £1, so you'd end up with £8 from them, at worst...

Picked mine up today - Absolute bargain, heat and rep added.

Reserved mine through click and collect yesterday at Blackburn - only to go in today to be told that they sold it to someone else that morning.

The girl behind the counter was an utter mong... I tried to explain how a reservation system is supposed to work but she just didn't get it.

On the plus side, I guess it is nice to know that people with an IQ lower than 40 are able to find work.

Great deal if you are able to overcome the hell that is Comet customer service

Oooh! That's bad... When I went to collect mine, I went to the desk, and they went and collected them off the shelf (I got Lair for PS3 too). I was wondering what would have happened if someone had come in and bought them all off the shelf... shocking!
#29
Yeah - am pretty gutted - thought that would come in handy seeing as I am off on hols at the end of the week!

Ordered one of those Edge micro SD cartridge adapter thingies that was listed on Sunday instead (I'll get it one way or another!)

I had the same problem. However a lady rang me to say that there were no copies left. I think because people come into the shop before they have a chance to be taken off for reservation. I asked her to source another copy for me as I assumed not many people would be buying it online because of the P&P. They found another copy and I am supposed to go in to get it today. We'll see how it goes. They assured me that they would keep it in the back.

I've noticed that you can no longer reserve online, thus called customer services.
No stock in any of my local stores, but the person i spoke to came up with the following solution -
Go in to your local store, give them the product number and they can order it in from the warehouse, which currently shows 53 instock.
You pay for it then, but will take no longer than 3-5 working days to arrive instore to collect.

I can't understand why some stores in the above reports are not offering this service

It's probably too much hard work for them, lol! ;-)

As per Saintscouple's post, the product number for them to order in-store for you is 438367

Thanks saintscouple! (Have edited OP with this info)

Thanks for this. Ordered 8 online and had them delivered today. Took them into CEX traded 6 for credit and got a DS Lite (still got £6 store credit left). Got £22 cash for the other 2.

So cost me a total of £23.87 for a DS lite.
#38
I notice that CEX has reduced the trade in value as everyone has been trying this one !! I did it four times and got credit to spend at a later date. Check out this link and see how many copies now in stock nationwide across Cex stores !!!! Ha Ha

My best was trading in lots of phones to get a PS3 (60GB). I took in about 10 phones (all the same). I cashed some and got store credit with the others and it cost me £135 for the ps3. This was last year when the ps3 60GB was selling for £350.

Even better was the two PSP I got from CEX :-D I bought lots of cheap phones form VirginMobile. £12.98 jobs delivered. They came with £10 top up vouchers and after the quidco on them £8 each, I worked out I was up £2 and had 2 PSP.

However due to the constant stream of trades (I must have traded in 30 odd brand new phones over the last year), I now have to take receipts for everything before they pay out.
