Will be happy to hear from the cold voters... Bought one yesterday and more than pleased with it :)

Where else can you get a true 1.3MP webcam for £13 ?

What's wrong with this? That's an excellent resolution for £13 - it also has a headset; and costs £20 at Pixmania. Okay, not the deal of the decade, but not cold, either.

Does it do that res on video? Or is it just for still pics?

this is a good deal, although doesnt .97 usually mean there is very few in stock?

Knew there'd be something, might be a bit stuttery with only 12 frames per second. Most do around 25-30. Think I'd rather have 640x480 but at a higher frame rate, not that I'm the one that's got to watch it!

Can your computer upload at that speed anyway? ie each frame contains 4 times the data of a 640x480 webcam so it might be really slow anyway.

Looks perfectly OK for me and the other end users have confirmed the superb clarity .

Thanks edi, so it comes through at a decent speed the other end? What software do you use?

Well. if you've vista, the CD that comes with the webcam is useless. However, Windows automatically detects the req software / driver from the web (SNC202) :)
