? Explain please. Cheers

You can install the three aforementioned operating systems on this product and at boot time choose which one to boot in to.

This has been this price for ages.

Nearly £200 for a second hand advent seems expensive to me.

Its not a copy, its a clone, and its also not really an advent, its an MSI.

I guess its just a 3 cell battery on this? Would have been hot with a 6 cell battery.
#10
Yeah 3 cell.
#11
got a link to the "carbon fibre" skin?

Yep. I have the same set-up, 320GB HDD, 2GB RAM, 6-cell battery and "carbon fibre" skin.

Nice to see some people highlighting 3 cell as a poor choice. 6 cell so much better but I don't have to tell you guys that :)

And a 9 cell is even better.....

BTW 6 cells and 9 cells can be found on ebay.

9 cell is just too big really

Worst thing about my Dell Mini 9 is the 4 cell battery. Problem is that by the time you have bought the larger battery and the cheaper Netbook, you may as well have splashed out on something like the Samsung with better battery as standard and better overall quality.

This is an ok price for a decent netbook, but if you are looking for something to take on the road go for one with a better battery, the Samsung at PC World for £250 the other day was a good deal for a great netbook. If you are just looking for a cheap netbook I'd wait until a better offer appears like the £80 Mini 9s or selection of Acers and Asus at around £100 at Tesco a while back.

Wasn't the Mini 9 a misprice? Does that count? :p

Great little netbook, typing on mine now. Had it since it first came out a year ago (mine is the non 'c' version, which as far as i can tell the only difference is HDD size) and it's not let me down. Use it every day and gets chuck in my bag in the plane locker twice a week and hasn't broken... yet!

(though it does live in one of them neoprene case things!)

3 cell battery is poor, can just about get 2 hours out of it, but i'm always near a plug anyway when i use it, so that's never been an issue!

I'd also be interested in a link to the CF skin too if you don't mind :) I assume it's 'carbon look' rather than the real deal?
