yeah should be mb :|
is this a good deal ? im after a cheap laptop from dixons [finance reasons] basicly im just wanting a laptop for the internet and football manager i have no idea about laptops so if someone could post a link to a decent laptopfor a fairly cheap price please do so

The refurbs from DGS are usually not perfect (there is always somthing wrong, like lid switch or lights don't work, etc.). You would ned at least 2GB Ram on this laptop for Vista.

I bought the Compaq CQ60 from Comet (£319). It's not dual core but has many extras such as 3gb Ram, dedicated number pad, lightscribe DVD writer, web cam plus mic, in a very solid casing. For me it's perfect because it is also very quite, which is important to me. I don't play games though, just Office and photo and video applications.

When I put Windows 7 instead of Vista on my Compaq (when it is released in October) it'll fly with speed.
I'd recommend dell outlet.
I just got "scratch & dent" Inspiron 1545 for £290 and it was like brand new. No marks, no sign of damage, unused or atleast reimaged with a fresh Vista install.
I second that. Dell are good. Sometimes new is cheaper than outlet, I noticed.
