Instead, why not use all that energy to edit the thread title to put the price in, so folk like me don't have to click-thru the deal to see what the price is

Not the one I had from them, like new with all protective selophane (sic?), screen protector, stckers, etc., in place.

Don't be put off by the non-glare screen. It is actually better to work on for antthing other than watching DVDs. I bought mine with non-glare when I had the choice.

Seems good to me, AMD is fine if you don't overclock (which you can't really do on a laptop anyway) so rated from me. Been looking for a cheap laptop, and here it is.

Total price paid assuming everything comes through £218.15 (1% Egg Money + 5% Dixons discount + 3% Quidco + 20% Dixons discount). Not bad for a machine that normally retails at £380!

If I now sell my battered old Dell C610 on ebay this laptop will have effectively cost me little more than £180.

Looks a good buy - anyone know if the 20% is available on other refurbished machines?

But if you did that, it would make you just like everyone else.........and where's the fun in that! ;-)

Heat and rep left!

Please read the threads. There is a 20% off which is taken off immediately on checkout.

Works out at around £220 IF you have an Egg card and a Quidco account. That's a good deal for a dual-core 2Gb machine.

Great spot. Just ordered one of these with a targus case and optical mouse for £244.98. Should be another £7.35 to come off for quidco.

For the price the specification is really good and if you have any problems you can just take it into your nearest PC World for service.
