Are the headphones any good for music?

this is more for online pc gaming than music

the HD 202 link i posted are sold as DJ headphones, and with them being Sennheiser's, the quality will be top notch.

but if you want something really good, but not cost an arm and a leg, then GoldRing DR150's are the one's to have.

No, you aren't missing anything. They aren't really alternatives to the featured products as they do NOT have an integrated microphone.

I reserved these for store pickup as they were 19.99 instore with currys but £8.44 if you reserve and collect, The main purpose that i purchased them was to use with rosetta stone v3 (speach) and so far they have been superb, the sound quality is exellent, and the microphone is exellent, i have 2 small children who love to shout and run around, the noise reduction is really great also lol.

Same deal at PCWorld (Being that currys and PCWorld are the same company didn't warrant a new deal):

Parents bought this a week ago. They are happy with them for what amounts to £9 and it works for their skypeing and yahoo voicechat.

Web reserve, otherwise you pay £19.99)

Edit: Actually, gone up to £20.99 in-store now.

I'm in the market for a decent gaming headset. I found this Trust "true" 5.1 surround sound headset on Amazon and am sorely tempted. Thirty quid with free delivery is an affordable price for this kind of kit. Pity I can't find one single review of these on the net.

I had a pair of these and they were awesome for FSX and other games as it had a microphone. It had really good sound quality and I am hoping to buy another pair soon..... The only bad thing about it is it's delicate and my pair broke from constant everyday use. There was a loose connection in the left side of the headphones but they lasted around a year and a bit.
