Quick heads up to those who still want one of these. They are back in Stock @ Curry's for home delivery. Don't know too much about these, but my daughter wants one and I have been struggling to get one since Christmas. I'm going to order one and inspect the quality etc.

Seems the price is the same across the DSG group.?

I'm sure it won't last long so be quick...

Best Android tablet out on the market so far. I've got one and loving it. YOu'll need to update the rom to bring out the best in it though
Yeah, I heard it needs to be hacked to get the best out of it, I'm okay with doing that as it seems fairly simple to do.?
#3, if you need the performance pack it can be picked up on the Vega section of XDA-Developers.
This or Archos 101 ? Opinions please
Vega is dual core so this over the Archos.
I'm waiting for a Notionink Adam, but could be waiting a long time!

Not only that but there's speculation about whether or not it actually looks like the image that's been banded around the internet not to mention the woes for those delving into the reservation page they've put up (and their accompanying returns policy).

The Notion tablet is aptly named in part. It's a great notion for a tablet. Sadly the "Adam" bit lets it down. This suggests it's "the first" or "the beginning" which it clearly isn't and wont be once the Motorola Xoom gets released end of this financial quarter.

You're on the money with this over the Archos though. After a lot of research I would agree that Archos were either stingy or short-sighted with the 101's hardware specs. A single core proc and 256MB ram are going to stop it dead in it's tracks for further O/S upgrades and limit both multi-tasking and HD / gaming use.
