It's Christmas and that means time for snowballs. £11 in most other supermarkets. Enjoy.

The original WARNINKS is around £11- Tesco's own brand is £6 odd so about the same as this WINTERINK!!

Advocaat in general though. £6.50 in TESCO but that's the only other major supermarket selling it and the ALDI one is still cheaper. no difference in taste in my opinion. people are welcome to spend double the price if they like.

I prefer the proper stuff it's thicker and higher ABV, however I like having 2 bottles for the same price as it tastes similar.

Its the main ingredient to make 'snowball' drinks. They are light and refreshing and popular at Christmas. We mix it with a tiny bit of lime cordial, a big splash of lemonade and pop a cherry in because its Christmas haha x

A lot more people shop at Tesco and have one nearby so thanks for this. Aldi spirits can often lack massively in percentage alcohol content, worth noting.

Or in an emergency you can just use sprite :)

Egg yolks mixed with brandy and sugar. It's a Dutch drink and Advocaat means "Lawyer" as it's thought a lawyer invented it. It is a very thick drink and usually served with lemonade as a "snowball". It tastes like a custard flavoured ice cream float and froths up like one too, lovely! Or you can just put some advocaat in a glass and top it up with milk then stir it well and add a sprinkle of nutmeg on top for a lovely eggnog style drink. I had one tonight (Tesco own brand) to celebrate tree being up, presents wrapped and cards posted. :D

Being Dutch myself, we eat it with a big dollop of whipped cream

I wouldn't dare drink Aldi brand on its own, it's vile. Only the proper stuff for on the rocks or with cream.

Absolutely safe - best kept in the fridge once opened, though.

I doubt anyone is choosing their Advocaat by strength anyway, since it's not really something you'd choose to get drunk on! lol
