Seems like a pretty cool product. Does it work with android though, Especially the wifi part?

Pity no 3.5mm input for connecting a Dot or Chromecast. Wonder what the warranty is too?

That said, at under £40 I'd chance it if I actually had a use for it!

WiFi is AirPlay only.

As another poster has said, wifi is airplay only. But that's not necessarily an issue, there's plenty of apps on the playstore that allow android devices to work over airplay.

How'd you get the £14.92 delivered?
#10
I bought one for my son for Christmas. Have to say that I am really impressed, sounds as good as my Bose mini and looks more expensive.
Great battery life, solid construction and comes with rubber base to avoid slipping. Even the packaging made it look like a premium product.
#11
Has built in Bluetooth and Spotify connect too. Bought one recently. Decent for the money.

Is there a code for this, what's the £14.92 price about ?

I suspect that £14.92 is a typo and should be £41.92, as the cheapest delivery charge is £1.95, which when added to the item cost is £41.92. :{

Looks nice, but I need aux.

Looks like somebody large sat on a Duracell D battery.

Was £300! lol

Was £300! lol

It was but in essence it's quite stripped down to what it was. Support will be non existent but how much support do you usually need on a BT speaker?

Bought one at this price for my daughter at Christmas, very impressed for the price, great sound (for the size) and feels like a premium product. Not had any issues with it not working but have only tired with Apple devices.

I bought this a year ago and it's been just awesome. I use it pretty much every day. The sound quality is amazing and it pairs to bluetooth fine. I can get it to work with Spotify connect but never apple airplay. It feels premium.. like it could easily be worth over £100 but of course not the £300 they quote. The massively expensive previous price they quote was because it offered this voice recognition music service that went bust

Works Fine , I picked one up about a year ago and still use it on and off. fantastic build quality, great battery life but way to bass heavy imo. Decent sound out of it but nothing special. It's worth it at that price.

Thanks OP. The reviews for this look great. For £40 I'm going to give it a try
#26
I'm sure it's a good product, when it was new it was priced at £300ish but Rdio fell over so you are getting premium hardware for a bargain price no doubt. It was kind of good for them to release an update that opened the system out rather than waste them all. Most of the criticisms with it were to the high entry cost, which is obviously no longer a concern.

Taking a punt. Have enjoyed using my jbl for a few years. If this offers any improvement on that for £40 I'll be well happy.

I've had mine for a year or so and had no problems with either bluetooth or airplay

Echo dot -> Bluetooth to cone, works great

Speakers sold in packs of 1.. what next, buying shoes 1 at a time.
Price is £80 unless you want mono music like some kind of peasant.

Every time this comes up I consider it, but I don't think I'll ever actually buy one. They look really cool. Am I right in thinking they can be directly 'streamed' to in the Spotify app (much like a CCA or an echo or a Sonos)?

Well given the above, you may not need the CCA.

Really impressed! Loud, clear & easy to work!! Perfect for a travel speaker - a little on the heavy side for taking away, but the quality is far better then any portable I have ever seen/used.
