? Yes, smaller boxes, so they are cheaper, and £2.79 is almost three times the price of these?

Just seems like a moronic comment.

But you get 2 boxes
#4

not near a morrisons so voted HOT!!!!!

M & S are also doing their own brand of after dinner mints for 99p which are very nice!

Also, keep them in their box when putting them out with the coffee and people will think you're well posh!
#12
2 for 2 quid maybe but Morrisons better deal , much bigger sizes 2 for 2.79
#13
Firtsly how much bigger are these boxes? If they are only 30% bigger then they are not better. :o

Besides you have to buy two, what if you only want one?
#14
Can't they both be hot deals? If you live near a poundland but not a Morrisons then this is hot!
suspended#15
Lynch Him!
#16
These are 200g

Morrisons are 300g
#17
great price for nice mints, £2 a pack in asda and even then it was on 'rollback' pah!!
#18
I think the Tesco own cheap ones are better myself :D
#19
Morrisons offer is now 2 for £3. the bogof is over :)

I have bought these poundland aftereights before and there is something not quite right about them. Loads of the branded products in their taste different e.g. coke. And they usually have a foreign language on the back.

Maybe the spelling ----- Afterates ----- Cock ----- Vimtoe ----

Yeah about the taste, I know what you mean, they are shipped back to us Co's they will not eat the **** we produce.

Seriously though it will be they are made in another country to that countries taste.

A few years ago I got some Cadbury fruit n nut, dairy milk made in Poland and I have to say it was not very nice.

...Seriously though it will be they are made in another country to that countries taste. ...

I think you'll find that they are made in this country but were intended for export - hence some foreign wording on the reverse.

From what I remember there were about 10 different languages listed, so I'm not sure how they can make a common taste that suits all the different countries.

These have been on sale in Poundland for over a year now and when I bought them a year back, I must say I couldn't tell the difference to another box we had bought from Tesco intended for the UK market.

Lidl also sell this smaller box with foreign writing on the reverse, but they are about £1.50 each
#23
well if you only want a small box then a pound is good. Hot from me. the morrisons deal is almost three times the price
#24
I recon they should take Iceland's slogan and go "Thats why mums go to Poundland..."
(eat your heart out, Kerry Kraptona).

hey - hang on a mo - Iceland are being sexist there!! - what if the parent is a Dad - do Dad's not shop in Iceland...?!!!

"that's why Papaa's go to Marks and Spencers..."

Erm no. Think you will find my Cadbury Dairy milk or Fruit n nut, Rum n Raisin said on back Made In Poland.

I know what you mean but I have bought plenty that was made in another country like the Cadburys stuff I may have mentioned
#26
or £1.99 for 450g in co-op! (£2.79 450g in sainsburys) the ones in £land are 200g not a bad deal- i bought these in the summer in £land but tempted by co-ops bigger box :)

Had a look at this item in Poundland today.

It is manufactured by Nestle in their plant in Frankfurt, Germany. It has a number of languages on the reverse including English. It also has details of country specific customer service lines, including a UK freephone number. I would therefore presume it is intended to be sold in UK for UK based customers.

Made in Germany though.
