Perhaps if you mentioned that XGD3 was the latest copyright protection for Xbox360 games and that the B class was the best for making pirated Xbox360 games in the deal description instead of giving a model number most people couldn't give two figs about then maybe it wouldn't have been voted as cold.

Just because the numbers mean something to you doesn't mean they'll mean anything to anyone else.

I liked your 'couldn't give two figs' comment. May I use it in future?

By all means :-)

ihave done some research on the website and they seams pretty legit.

Glad to hear it - it'd be a shame if you bought a DVD drive to pirate Xbox games and it turned out the seller wasn't legit ;-)

Nail on head. Like it :-)

Correct go for the X41's

Great set of wireless headphones
That's a nice price. But if you're not bothered, you can find some refurbished ones on ebay for £40.
It's a good headset but if you've got a bigger budget, I'd suggest the X41 for the 7.1 sound.

There's no tinkering involved that both servers wouldn't need ........but i'll leave you to it ......
I think we are just going to have to accept that you want to build your own by adding extras and I don't. I don't think repeating the original post again will aid in your understanding that I was looking for a ready made WHS device and the Asus was the cheapest I found and wanted to share with others. As I said the HP looks a capable machine at a good price, if you want to tinker.

You are still missing the point aren't you, and what I said in my original post - "Cheapest Windows Home Server I could find, unless you build your own that is." I am not arguing if it is cheaper to build you own or buy ready made.

But it's only installing WHS ......as the HP one comes with a 250GB drive ......i wouldn't call installing software 'build your own'.....

Effectively if i spend the same money as the one you posted above .......but get the HP Server i linked to......then i end up with a 4.25TB Server !

It also has DDR3, has 5 SATA drive slots, 6 external USB, one internal USB so u can boot with something like FreeNAS and run XBMC on it, one external eSATA and Gigabit Ethernet.

Read the thread i posted above .....its a superb bargain for £121 !!

Yes it does look a capable machine at a good price, but you can not use it as a comparison to the OP which in the first line stipulates "Cheapest Windows Home Server I could find, unless you build your own that is." I was not looking for a do it yourself freenas type machine, I was looking for a WHS set up and the OP still stands as correct ;)

Even if i add an original copy of WHS and a 1TB drive it's STILL cheaper ....it ain't difficult to install either .....
