Are there any cheap ink refills for this?
#2
How much is a standard ink cartridge for this printer anyway?
#3
It takes a dye-sub cart, which usually comes bundled with the special paper kits

Agfa Photo Paper and Cartridge Pack

Category : Photo Quality Card & Paper

Lowest Price £39.99

FEATURES
For use with Agfa photoprinter AP1100, AP2300 and AP2700.6 inch x 4 inch prints.Dye sub paper type.150 sheets per pack.Cartridge type - ink film.2 cartridges per pack - 150 total prints.

£40 for 150 prints works out @ circa 27p a print - Kind of steep by my reckoning.

Tested by which info below:

Uses ribbon on two spools rather than a dye sub cassette

"Approx cost per print 27p

Pros: PictBridge compatible, average print speeds

Cons: Only comes with enough ink and paper to print six photos, no battery pack or handle so it’s not that portable, pretty high running costs, average print quality, doesn’t accept memory cards, no ‘off’ switch"

You can go here and get it for a bit less at £29.99 which makes it 20p/print ....

No comparison with Boots, Truprint and so on, but I guess you're buying convenience when you buy one of these rather than economy............

I wish the Kodak PH-160 kits could be had at that price :-( Inkubus doesn't even sell Kodak, and my Easyshare 500 needs supplies. But not at no £39.99 for 160 prints lol
These dye-subs are lovely printers, but the consumables are a rip-off.
