Does polyester have better abrasion than ballistic nylon? or just better than "most common materials" as it says? Cotton wool is a fairly common material. Is it double blind stitched? or will it just burst open on first contact with the ground?...meaning it doesn't matter how abrasion resistant the material is. Lots of decent make jackets seem to come fitted with a cursory back protector...which is only useful to find the right shape proper back protector anyway. Looks like it has all the right gizmos but for my money I'd like to find out more or just give it a miss. Happy to be taken up on any of my thoughts...I'm no expert.
