Maybe too good to be true?

Distributed by Amazon but not sold by Amazon.

Was tempted but I don't want to risk another lookalike set.
#2
When you say Lookalike set, were they these or another brand?

I've had 'Too good to be true' Fake Sonys off eBay, packaging was an amazing copy but the earbuds were shocking.

Another site selling these says '100% authentic with serial # to verify authenticity otherwise its fake' so is that how you'd tell (other than the sound quality)?

I highly doubt these are fakes. Why would they rip off headphones made by a company pretty much nobody has heard of?

Based on the reviews, I'd say this is about the right price really. The only reason it's around £60 elsewhere, is because they aren't stocked in too many places
#4
Aiaiai make bloomin good headphones. If these are authentic, (which I suspect they may not be!) the price is fantastic. I'm gonna go with too good to be true.

@mamboboy - it's only this colour at this price, other colours are £60 plus

Excellent!

Has anyone got these? Some reviews say that the seal isn't all that good?
#9
Seems genuine enough but put off by the reviews. The earphones seem to be average sound and design wise.
#10
Flubit - and they shoudl match with genuine ones that are also cheaper?

Cheap no-name headphones.

Not worth a tenner.
#13
There are a couple of other sellers too at this price... Reviews seem pretty decent, quite tempted! Especially as I noticed recently so many people rocking the same headphones I have (Sony ZX300)...!

Nope - they match amazon's own prices

Does anyone own these?

seller seems legit, if theyre fake just make a fuss and get your money back / partial refund ( and often keep the fake/ semi defective product )... ive gone for it as i've been needing some smaller headphones since my ex broke my last ones and I've had to walk around with reference bayerdynamic dt150's weighing my head down for the last half a year.

also called the scouser headphones

"ai ai ai ai aia aia i aaia ai a aiaai aia iai calm down"

flubit usually beat Amazon prices and they tend to come from either fubit or merchant direct. as it costs around 15% to sell on Amazon/fleabag then this is why you can get it cheaper. always flubit.
#23
I've given heat for the price...but the review lost me with the first CON:

"Uncomfortable fit"...I'd rather pay a bit more - nothing worse than uncomfortable headphones...

Got these a few weeks ago from the same seller, couldn't resist at the price. Have had a pair of aiaiai tracks previously which had thumping sound. They are real, we're never really going to be fakes as the brand isn't well known enough for imitations. If you wear glasses as I do, a good seal is quite hard to achieve. Still great overall sound with punchy bass. Would compare them favourably to much more expensive headphones I've had before. Fold up nicely and are hard wearing. No brainier at this price from a very underrated brand.

Would you know how these would compare to the Sony mdr 7506?

If you want one from Amazon, it's available in another colour for £30.

Flubit have just given me an offer of £21.57 - not much off, but every penny counts!

Reel them in.

Thanks to the OP for posting this - mine just arrived, and sound amazing. well worth the cash.

I would be shocked if these were fake - too unique with too many nice touches and the box prolly costs about £23 in itself :)
#34
Mine arrived yesterday. They're definitely authentic, not the worlds best pair of headphones... Very similar to my £30 sennheisers, for £22 they're very good. A little more bass would be nice but good clarity.

I got mine today, wish I'd Fluibitted but Didnt realise the deal was already 2 days old at the time I ordered!

Look very legit, packaging is magnetic, with spot varnish, the box itself would've cost a lot to make!

seem good quality and very sturdy headphones, sound good to me and I'm used to beyerdynamics and denon.

Also love the fold up capabilities!

not sure entirely how comfortable they are yet though, can only tell with time. Apparently you need to bend them a bit?!!?
#37
I got these from a similar seller from Amazon a few months ago. Very good and they are a good fit (for me). Took a wee while to burn in but after that the bass was much better. Definitely worth £22!
#38
Mine came this morning - I got them through Flubit, but they arrived in an Amazon box, with an Amazon receipt. Go figure.
Not the most comfortable in the world (ok for the price, though!)
Apparently the Sennheiser HD25 pads will fit, and they are a lot more comfortable, so I think I'll order a pair to try.
#39
Arrived just now - Pretty good, a little 'distant' in sound, could be a snugger fit, but overall very rounded and dynamic headphones!

Worth every penny, well done to those Flubbiting :)

Thanks OP!
