According to the reviews on Amazon it also features a Secure Digital flash memory slot:

If this is the same as the one I have then this is a great price. It also has an SD Card expansion slot for up to 2GB cards and can be used as a speaker for any 3.5mm input, such as a Sound Card from PC, MP3 player etc. I paid £70 for mine and the sound is amazing for such a small device. At this price buy one now, you won't regret it.

Thanks for the extra info - makes it quite versatile with the SD capability.

How big is it?.

Bit personal!!!!! :)

16cm High by 16cm wide (at the base of the cone) Best to sit it on something wooden to get the best bass reflex.

For less than £20 it's as good as a midi hifi.

I've seen these shown on either QVC or Ideal World while going through the different channels as a 'Special of the Day' quite a few months ago. The colour effect they have is excellent and naturally both presenters were hyping them up massively. I think they were easily double this price; so an excellent deal. Well done Bookie :)

This may be a misprice... the 512MB one is £34.97. I wonder if they got the prices the wrong way round. I ordered one but will check in the shop before leaving to make sure its the 1GB one!

Don't think so cos it states above the price.

Was £69.97 - but not any more! Was £34.97 - but not any more!

Then says SAVE £15.00

Not Stereo though.

Just ONE speaker?

Is that right?
#13
Yup only one speaker.

But for 15 quid (if your local is accepting free pickup from store) or 18 quid its a bargain.

Some xmas pressies sorted!!

It's just one speaker - 360° Omni-direction speaker.

All the reviews seem to agree about the sound quality being pretty good :)

paid £34.99 for this, however this is my second as the first one wouldnt play anything apart from a stupid free sample which comes with it.

Sounds very bad when the volume is at max and theres no fast forward or rewind functions.

If youre after a cool worthy sound system then id recommend the sony one from argos at £99.99 which also has DAB radio .

if you purchase a Tesco small rubber torch and collect from store price reduces to £16.44 with voucher code.

If you haven't got a participating store nearby (I haven't), order the £5 Value SIM (it comes with £10 credit pre-loaded), use the £5 off £20 code and then you can actually choose PREMIUM delivery for free. Nothing stopping you taking the SIM back to store for a refund but if your phone is SIM-free you could always use the £10 credit.

Hardly comparable in terms of cost, though, is it? :whistling:

You can order along with the MP3 speaker, an energizer 2025 battery (48p) taking the order to over £20!! or a pack of 5 biros for 49p :w00t:
#22
Shame the Energizer AAA batteries arent in stock. Would be useful for this baby.
#23
Didn't I see an air freshener the same in Tesco's ... :)

Can it play tunes off your PC without loading them onto the internal memory first?

I bought one of these to transfer all my Parents CD's onto.

Was able to add in a Default 4gb SD card which allowed their whole collection to be added. Sound quality is superb for such a small device and the shear volume that comes from it will supprize you.

I paid £34 quid a month or two ago when they where selling it and was extremely happy. Actually tempted to buy another one for Crimbo pressie, at £18 you can't go wrong.

p.s. There is a shuffle on the device so u just start it up and let it cycle through your music collection.

Will vote hot!!!

How are people working this out at £18.44 and £15?

Depends what ppl are ordering with it. I added a cheapo item to basket to bring it over £20 so I could use the £5 off voucher and chose collect at store to save on delivery. Came to £16 odd for me.

EDIT: Quidco tracking at £1.19 too!

Does anyone know if you could use this with a psp?

Since when has bargain hunting been about usefulness? :-D It looks great, it's a gadget that won't cure cancer or solve the World's problems, of course. It's less than £20. Convinced yet? :whistling:

Can anybody who's got one of these confirm it can run on batteries to give rizla an excuse for buying one :)
