Great price for the capacity - anyone know how it compares with the recent creative zen deal at sainsburys

Could that not be said of all MP3 players? :)

Pretty good find.

Not mine. Its only 40gig :(

High resolution 320X240 pixels display
Um... high resolution? OK...

Still, 120 portable GB for £90 is a good price, definitely better for data transfer or audio, rather than video with that resolution.

Is it a refurb?

Seems so with an item number of 'GRADEA111' and only a 3 month warranty....

NOt bad thanks mate

And not as expensive either.

Supports IFO and BUP files for DVD Playback - Thats quite handy actually, rip a dvd or two onto the hard drive and then play on the tv using av out. .. My ARCHOS can't do that.

Video play back is only 2.5 hours though.

Does 'as new' mean second hand?

Hmm has USB OTG..means that when you're on holiday you can plug in your digital camera and download your pictures to it (no need for a computer), to make space for more shots!

Voted hot for price/capacity.

Haha - what a pointless advertising slogan!

The reviews are at a higher price point of over £200 so pretty good value for money for this price!

From their website
"As New
Items will be in as new condition, but may have been returned to the Original Manufacturer as a failed or incorrect delivery. These items would then be fully tested and reboxed if needed by the Manufacturer and sold "As New" with the Original Manufacturers full warranty."

Received mine today, looks new, remote control and cables all in original packaging.
Charged up, and tested all OK, very pleased with this, ideal to go on holiday with, watch films on the flight, download digital photos to, and a portable dvd player when you link it to a TV.
Another great deal;-)
#21
Anybody comment on the picture quality? Also, can you turn the screen off if you link it to your TV? Cheers, Shane
#22
You have to turn off the screen to get it to work on the TV (button on top)
Picture quality is OK, I am sure there will be people who analyse it and say it's not perfect, but to be honest, it looks good to me on the screen and linked to the TV

I have had this a while now, and have just finished loading it up with films for my hols.
No format has fazed it, and everything is clear on screen and TV.
It locked up once, when my OH was trying different connectors to the TV, and just plugging in and out randomly, but he just took the battery out and all was OK again.
The HD is partioned, which on the Big Pockets site someone had said was a problem, but to be honest not for me. Again look at the price before saying no good, as you wont find this cheaper at the moment.

I've got one too. I was disappointed that it didn't play MP4s, although wasn't a major issue as I've got a smaller MP4 player. Other than that I've been happy with it.

I found the partition to be a pain, but following the instructions linked to from the comment on Big Pockets it was really easy to get rid of it.

For the price I think this is a great gadget and well worth having. I've got all of my MP3s onto it and still have about 60gb left for videos.

Got to be worth £50 for the 120GB portable storage alone.
