Typical - I just paid £90 a couple of days ago.

Edit - ahh I dont feel so bad now. I've just seen reviews of Focalprice. At least mine is supplied from the UK, delivery in 2 days, no import duty, etc....

Where did you get it for £70 please? and did it come with ICS android 4.0 or later already installed?

eBay- it was £92.99 actually with free delivery. Seller was called fantasticphones but I just checked and it appears he is sold out. If you search for Ainol Paladin on eBay a load of them come up, mostly around the £99 range but there is one guy selling a used one for £65.
And yes, it comes with 4.0 and even the Spiderman game pre-installed.

OK, cheers, will have a look.... I've seen some from Amazon sellers for around £95, which is why I wondered how you got it for £70, but still worth a look

It's a great wee tablet but the android market is limited a bit - the MIPS cpu architecture is not compatible with a lot of games and apps and, this will take off in time and become more popular but, in the meantime, you may be frustrated at the lack of downloads available compared to a more popular tablet based on the ARM architercture

You're faced with paying around £120 for a decent ARM based tablet:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ainol-novo-elf-budget-android-4-0-ice-cream-sandwich-tablet-nstovold-ebay-1126380

but an ARM base one has full compatibility.

lol, ****.

If this wasn't with focalprice I'd be on it like a shot, even though I don't need one. £70 does sound good now, but by the time it arrives the ipad2 will cost that much!

Great price but the description says 2 point touch, can anyone confirm if it is indeed 2 point touch?

If I was going to buy a cheap Ainol tablet, it would be the Elf or Aurora, not this, the cpu compatibility issue is a deal breaker.
tappy#28
mips based so most apps wont work including skype and facebook

could a truly stranger name have been thought of? reminds me of the days when i was at CEX and they made their own PC called "FUQA"... folks pronounced it "foo-Kwa".... MD (Dudani) "no - its "Fuka"....

Got this last week for 79.99 (grr). I am amazed at the quality and speed of this thing for the money. I have only used it for surfing, email and a couple of films but am impressed.
My Samsung Galaxy is lighter and the xoom is better but I am delighted with this so far.

Touch screen pretty good too.

wouldn't risk my money on a foreign seller :)

In a mark out of ten, I reckon there's a few HUKD members that would certainly give Ainol six.

Can't seem to get it to give me the price in pounds.....
$ 106.43 on the site seem to work out at £67.94 at an exchange rate of 1.56 USD to the 1 GBP...

Yeah - a mate has one and pinch to zoom & rotate works and that needs 2 point multitouch.

16GB Ainol NOVO 7 Aurora with IPS touchscreen can be had for around £125. Newer, better model.

I went for a Teclast P76ti for £100 instead of this, Allwinner A10 (Arm Cortex A8, Mali-400 graphics), even plays games like GTA III. I did look at the Paladin but the MIPS CPU put me off, a friend has one and my Teclast is a lot better (and doesn't sound so rude!!!).
