Jump to unread Post a CommentIncidentally, the NP-60 batteries are cheap and plentiful online. I bought several for an older camera for a quid each, and so have lots of spares for this.

Not a toy. It's quite high resolution. Obviously you can pay more and get something better. Sony do a small 3D camera similar to this one, but I thinks its eyes are too close together.

Sorry, but cold.
I believe the 3D videos are lower resolution than the the normal ones, which are 720p HD (the same as my 50 inch TV). I don't think you should judge from a you tube video, which may well have been reduced in resolution.
Of course, if you aren't interested in the 3D aspect, this may not be a great buy, but try finding a 3D camera cheaper.
