£43 to NZ? Do you have to bring your own fuel? Do you get a seat?

Sounds too good to be true!
#3
yep thats what i was thinking but will see its a promo flying from london to nz so i bet even if there are flights at this price there wont be many and hard to find for dates.but will see

might be £43 going alright if you want a one way but coming back can be pricey.

Just wanna add I have flown Air Asia from HK to Thailand this year and it was a really excellent service. It's not a Ryanair clone. The service was excellent and the in-flight extras are really cheap.

Voted HOT!
#13
If the flights back were the same would of been class.
#14
I will go! return same day? :p
#15
yeah Ive flown airasia to KL when they had the return deal for £200 and it was excellent - the meals arnt included but you can purchase before flight for a 20% discount .
The meals are good , the service was good , and yes you have luggage restriction of 15 kg but can upgrade for £10 each leg of your trip or just pack light !

Great find if you can find the flight for the op price

its not too good to be true
when I lived in Malaysia, I used them couple of times and they are extremely cheap.
No pillow, blanket and meals are provided but wouldn't cost much.
Also for long distance flights they use Air Asia X which has more comfortable seats.

Just checked their website & there's no flight option from Stansted to anywhere in New Zealand.
Hmm. Wonder if it's a new route, hence the low price??
#30
Do you have to come back via a canoe?!!!
#31
tthe catch is double the price for returning lol

its a new route yes thats why they are selling cheap seats.
#33
£43 plus about £300 Taxes and surcharges
#34
I am hoping that they add Christchurch in their drop down list. Otherwise going to have to try book 4 flights instead of 2 for a return (London to KL to Christchurch) and back

From Wiki:

In October 2010 AirAsia X announced four weekly flight between Kuala Lumpur and Christchurch in New Zealand.[27]

Got same e-mail this morning and just got another one, correcting the info, It's not London to NZ, but Kuala Lumpur to NZ the route that will cost 43 quid...it was too good to be true...

Sounds about right. It shows the regular one way price from Stanstead to KL is £196 exclusive of taxes. Add on £43 for the KL to Christchurch leg? Can't see STN to CHC being cheaper than STN to KUL!!

According to the email I got from Air Asia it says " Kuala Lumpur Christchurch

NEW! 4x Weekly

From GBP
one way
43 "

So dont think this is from Stansted. Would love to be proved wrong tho X)

Oooops sorry didnt realise previous poster had already put this:|
