You are correct as just had a look on their Website:

FAQ’s and trouble-shooting guide
Q: Does the product work with iPhone?
A: No, it is designed for use with iPod, not iPhone. Through the line input on the back of the product you may connect other MP3 players with 3.5mm connection ports.

saw this on another site .. just bought one , will let you know if it works with an iphone

Yes. It is charging my iphone now. Ever since I installed OS4 phone has adopted a bit of an erratic nature on things of this type.

To be honest the more I listen to it I have to say its not worth £30.

Did a direct comparison to the Zeppelin yesterday using the same track RAMMSTEIN - TIER. The results were laughable in comparison to the B & W. Not just worse but a league apart.

PP : You say this lacks some low end, but I don't think it has any at all.

Surely they never had the cheek to actually charge the full 79.99, ????

As this will take batteries this could be used as a travel speaker

I'd go so far as to say that a £10 Aidrock is comparable.

Even though a few negative comments must be worth a punt at this price - if its as good as the Intempo dock, its worth it and i dont think House of Fraser would stock it if it was a duff dock.

it does work with iphone in airplane mode - it plays your music and charges your phone but the remote will not skip tracks

i bought this last week when it was 30 quid it is very average but ok for the garden as takes batteries - sounds ok very little bass but doesn't distort

More importantly, does anyone know if it's any good?

Not really a fair comparison given that the B&W is a £400 dock. Of course it won't be in the same league. Try comparing it against another £20 dock. How is it then?

Can't believe someone is moaning that this is not up to the standard of the B&W Zeppelin. That's like buying a fiesta and then complaining that it's not as good as your aston martin.

These are aimed at completely different markets, I've taken a punt on this for the bedroom. it's £17.99 at the end of the day, gotta be worth a try at that price. I'll be using it with my Iphone so I'll let you know how I get on with it.

I have a Fatman Itube in the living room so don't worry I won't be moaning when it's not up to the same standard as that.

Purchased, really worth it if has battery capability aswell. Again i lol'd at comparing to B&W, do you really care when you just have it as background music at a BBQ or pool side.

My opinion this is warm.

Ok, I checked this out at the House Of Fraser in Glasgow (think it was lke £62 there) and was impressed with the quality for what it is, They also had a Sony one next to it which was £50 which seems to be the same price everywhere. This has a clock and stuff on it. The sound quality was very similar. It does go failry loud and the sound is fine for what you are paying, certainly worth £17.99 posted. Think £80 originally is a bit of a **** take.

Oh and felt guilty about taking the guys time up in there, cos he was really nice :| and it's not his fault that they charge so much oO
#25
Priced at £25 and non in stock at the moment

Hope this is useful to someone who may look back at this thread, but i tested mine out and it is poor, even more so when i compared it to a similarly priced Intempo dock. Disappointing.
#27
I heard it compared to a gear4 houseparty 4 and also the sony one that is usually selling for £40-60 and found little difference. Not tried mine at home yet though :)
#28
Update: It's pants :( Whilst it looks good and the sound is good, the remote is p!ss poor and needs to be held abor 3-4 ft from the speakers and directly in front and even then u need to hope for the best.

Mine's going back.
