NEW! Ticket sales are now open on the first A380 Air France flights between Paris and Johannesburg starting 17 February 2010. Johannesburg is an addition to the already existing A380 operated route Paris - New York City.

Paris to Johannesburg
The A380 will operate three days a week (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from Paris) from 17 February, and every day from 20 April 2010.

Paris-Johannesburg leaving at 11:20 pm, arriving the following morning at 10:55 am;
Johannesburg-Paris leaving at 8:30 pm, arriving at 6:00 am the following day.
Air France is the first carrier to fly the largest civilian aircraft in the world to the African continent!

Boy are you gonna feel wrecked when you get back to Paris assuming you dont get one of those nice big beds !!!

Would have been nice if they could have given you a bit longer in Joburg .

still quite an experience travelling on that monster !!
Flying with Air France is always "an experience" - and rarely a good one!
Try Garuda ;-)
Remember to pack a Kevlar vest
and watch out for the prawns ;)
pretty sure i took the A380 from jo'burg to london last christmas.
emirates from memory.
so not sure if air france is 1st airline to do this
