Thank you, been after these for ages as our kitchen is freezing.

Thanks also to margamboy for the postcode hint, none locally but happy to travel to York for them. Cheers.

Over 20 left in Paisley. Been looking for one of these for ages. Great price. Thanks..

got mine today. reserved online at basildon store. now fitted and well impressed as it heats the kitchen quick - alas, it cools down just as quick too :(
#9
They sold mine to someone else even though I'd reserved it :(
#10
There were 2 at Cardiff Gate but now none.

I bought one which was returned as the remote did not function. The other functions ok.
#11
I reserved one of these Friday, got a call Saturday morning saying they had none in stock. Still if you can get one hot from me

2 things to bear in mind with these; 1, you cannot use them with a timeclock/thermostat ie if you want to warm the kitchen early in the morning before you get up as you have to turn the unit on and off with the remote and 2, if you lose the remote there is no way to manually switch it on, as I understand. If thats not a problem, then this is a great price.

Thanks got one.

Looks like its got buttons from the pic or is that just the indicator lights

Reserved a pair for a future kitchen project. As others have stated, well below normal price. Just got to buy the rest of the kitchen for them to fit to.
#16
I got one of these last year and took it back before fitting it. Without a thermostat it's either on or off at the 2 heat settings. I got a winterwarm 2kw plinth heater which had an adjustable thermostat so I can leave it on all the time but at the temperature that is suitable.
#17
Thanks OP. Reserved one locally. Seem widely available in East Anglia.
#18
Do these come with a plug or have to be connected to the mains electric?
#19
i just put a couple of the burners on the hob on(gas).not normally in the kitchen that long except if im cooking then the oven's on,which warms the kitchen up anyway.

The trouble with that is it produces a lot of water vapour so you're likely to get condensation.
#21
same as the way those heaters work dry the air out...

swings and roundabouts.

not really as this doesn't introduce more water vapour into your kitchen like putting on a burner does

I got one on Saturday and they are BUTTONS and indicators, so even with no remote you still have full control. A great buy at the price.
