Airplane! (1980): Voted "one of the 10 funniest movies ever made" by the American Film Institute, Airplane! is a masterpiece of off-the-wall comedy. Featuring Robert Hays as an ex-fighter pilot forced to take over the controls of an airliner when the flight crew succumbs to food poisoning; Julie Hagerty as his girlfriend/ stewardess/ co-pilot; and a cast of all-stars including Robert Stack, Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves, Leslie Nielsen, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and more!

Their hilarious high jinks spook airplane disaster flicks, religious zealots, television commercials, romantic love...the list whirls by in rapid succession. And the story races from one moment of zany fun to the next!

Airplane 2: The Sequel (1982): There's a mad bomber on board, the first lunar shuttle is about to self-destruct, the engines are not working, and worse of all - the flight crew discovers they are completely out of coffee! It's the high-flying lunacy of 'Airplane!' all over again, as Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty fly totally out of ozone to recreate their hilarious original roles. The crew of crazies includes Peter Graves, Lloyd Bridges, William Shatner, Chad Everett, Sonny Bono, Raymond Burr and many others. Can Hays save the day again - without caffeine? Fasten your seatbelts for a ride you'll never forget - 'Airplane 2: The Sequel'.

The funniest pair of movies ever made IMO. I already have this collection and paid full price for it. So funny i'd be prepared to pay £50 for it.

Anyone who has never seen these films before, if you appreciate daft comedy, take a punt on this, i'm sure you won't be disappointed. It's only a fiver and an awesome price for my 2 favourite films of all time.

HOT!!!!

Dr Rumack: Captain, how soon can you land?
Captain Oveur: I can't tell.
Dr Rumack: You can tell me. I'm a doctor.
Captain Oveur: No. I mean I'm just not sure.
Dr Rumack: Well, can't you take a guess?
Captain Oveur: Well, not for another two hours.
Dr Rumack: You can't take a guess for another two hours?

"Joey do you like movies about gladiators?"

"Joey, have you ever seen a grown man naked?"

"Joey, do you ever hang round a gymnasium?"

you'd never get away with that now...

You got a letter from headquarters this morning.

What is it?

It's a big building where generals meet, but that's not important.

Young Boy with Coffee: Excuse me, I happened to be passing, and I thought you might like some coffee.
Little Girl: Oh, that's very nice of you, thank you.
Young Boy with Coffee: Cream?
Little Girl: No, thank you, I take it black, like my men.

Lmao the first part that sprang to mind! Hilarious! With they way comedy has gone now, unfortunately with Russell Brand and the like, it's great to see some people know what REAL comedy is. This film really is comedy. Real comedy. Really!

Exactly, it's great to see so many people really appreciate this. I think the comedy has changed so much that the younger generation don't seem to find it funny. Which is a huge shame because this is the funniest film i've ever seen.

I can't believe the 18 year old guy didn't find it funny. Thanks for making everyone else feel old ;-)

Me neither, but thats todays youth. I don't really understand what they do actually class as comedy now tbh. I think the only thing they find funny nowadays is vandalism :whistling:
