Popped into pcworld to buy some case fans today when i saw this!

I grabbed the last two and now they are sitting in my case lol

The fans a 22cm so may be abit big for some people but at 97p it is worth a punt!

I dont know if this is national or not sorry!

Ideal for DIY modding or as a replacement for an existing 22cm chassis fan. Crystal clear fan and five blue LEDs add style to the PC case. The nine large fan blades provide massive amounts of cooling airflow to all system components at a very low speed, which makes the fan virtually silent.

An additional 95 CFM of airflow directed towards motherboard, VGA card(s) and RAM can significantly improve the system stability, which might be extremely important especially at the next LAN PARTY.

Yep, got 2 of these (full price from Scan :() and using them to hover above my AV amp and HTPC to cool them down. Brilliant and quiet too. Might check out local PC World and see if I can pick a few more up for this price.

Big fan = quiet :) 22cm too big for anything in my case though but great deal for those who can use them! Hot!
#12
Does anybody know if these fit the HAF 932 as replacement fans
theyre a bit smaller than the stock 230mm fan.
Awsome Deal hope there are some left for me!!! LOL

quote "In our tests, it moved 43cfm and only emitted 28.5dBA, but its airflow is nearly half of what Akasa claims it should be, no doubt due to its low static pressure"

For anyone who's interested I saw these whilst noseying about in PC World in Lincoln yesterday. They were priced up at £4.97 though, but would assume they scan through at 97p?

Edit: I think there were three left
#17
bought this frm scan a while back.....this fan is nice and quiet and it really does cool the insides alot......only one problem I find is that I need to clean the inside more often...gets very dusty...excellent price for 97p...might see if I can get one to use as a room fan when its hot in the summer...lol
#18
not bad but you'd need one holy batman of a filter for that
#19
picked one up for a laugh

probably gonna go in the junk box tbh lol

None in Reading, but did have a 6cm Akasa Amber fan for 97p and Akasa 45cm round IDE 133 cables for the same price.

Thats one massive fan. Do cases have space made for these or are they just hung up?
#22
I must admit 220 MM is a very odd size - most cases are still rocking on 80 / 92MM fans, only the "premium" cases tend to use 120MM.

Saying that, the ATCS 840 next to me does have 3x 230 MM fans, but the 220's wont fit in anywhere :/

The only cables I could find are the floppy drive cables at the price.
