AKG K450 Headphones - £41.98 @ Amazon sold by SuperFi
Pretty sure this is the cheapest they've been yet from a certified reseller...
Ideal for use with virtually any portable music player, the K 450 can also wirelessly connect to your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone by means of an optional adapter and headset. So you can enjoy your favorite music as you may never have heard it before, as well as make and receive hands-free calls, all through the same system. And for your convenience AKG added two lengths of the single sided cable. Of course the foldable K 450 always makes a perfect travel companion, wherever you may be.

Thanks in advance

Indeed, cracking little headphones, ultra portable yet comfortable, with sound quality rivaling headphones three times their price.

Think you've just saved me wasting hours of researching.
Just one point - looks like the bluetooth adapter AKG planned didn't come to fruition, although I'm sure there may be an alternative method of achieving this - purely academic for me as bluetooth was not really on my wish list.
Thanks again OP - turning into a very HUKD induced expensive week this. ;-)
Apart from the cans being great sound, there also mega portable

£10 Voucher only valid on in store sales over £100
the 451's are listed as £60
tempting
You may want to try Koss PortaPro at 20£ which again in my opinion sounds better, or the iGrado at 45£ (basiically a 90£ Grado SR60) which in everybodies opinion mops the floor with anything under 200£.
Please before telling me how wrong I am just compare the headhpnes above. Ive owned too many and I believe I am well past talking rubbish.
Just so you guys understand, I also own the 750£ Greado RS1, me being the plonker who gave it the only bad review on Amazon. To make it easier, the 90£ Grado Sr60 (diluted iGrado in our case) sounds very close but much detailed and more thinner than a 750£ Grado RS1.
Sry Op, I said too much, and many people here dont care or choose their headphones by design or brand name only.

maybe thats why so many people contradict my view on them, i had the misfortune to buy a fake
maybe they had fakes from amazon marketplace ?? ;-) think the review comments say it all!
got mine last month when they were £42.95, from superfi through amazon. i can only compare to 2 pair of goldring cans and cx300 buds.got about 70-80 hrs on mine and i love them, decent bass, detail and comfortable.
can't go wrong for £40 IMO
Good price, but I wouldn't mind hearing them first...
Could you recommend best running-in procedure. I'm completely clueless in this respect, sure a Google search will explain but can't beat first hand advice.
They'll burn in just from using them. Take in mind some people prefer the original sound over the burnt in one. It's all subjective :)
