Got some AKG years ago. They sounded better than the award winners we were originally going to buy. Always listen to a variety in a good music shop if you can. Happy Xmas.

Haha I'm with Hughsee on this.

Seems that headphones these days are just a means of making those that already look ridiculous look even more ridiculous.

The black ones are OK for those who refuse to wear the brighter colours.

Great headphones - agree, black is the 'safe' colour. Very happy with my pair.

Not overpriced Beatz, so unfortunately cold ;)

Don't get this site. This is a duplicate post yet the other post has minus 35 and is voted cold. This one is hot?? I don't see this personally as a good price. This is an expected price drop and has been this price for 5 months on superfi

You're incorrect. They were £69 on Superfi yesterday and £59 for an open box black pair.

Got someone to get it for me from Dixons Travel at Gatwick Airport for £39 (was the last black one). Sound quality is very good, speakers still need to burn in. Note to anyone buying, sound does leak at mid to high volume.

They have an in-line remote. Can you tell me what it actually does?
Most places and reviews just state it as being a "universal" remote and can accept calls?
Another mentioned "multifunction" but didn't expand.
Will it allow flicking between music tracks and stop/start? That's all I need it to do really.

Sweet, might dive in on a teal pair :)

Cold you can buy a pair of generic Chinese Bluetooth beats knock offs for less. Cabled headphones meh, prehistoric who would not want wireless Bluetooth.

*this is in jest! The above was spouted for 100 pages during Black Friday by some poster.

When listening to music if you click once, music pauses, double click goes to next track.
If a call comes in, single click to answer and another click to end call or hold to ignore the call.

I'm normally using them on the train so I'm holding my phone so tend to use the phone rather than the remote.

Nice one!

That's how my current cheapo in-ear one's remoteworks and it does me fine.

Thanks

Look great. But my old sonys still work fine. Always cringe giggle a bit when headphone posts mention bass, anyone else?

Wow, now that is a serious bargain! Almost makes me regret going balls out and getting a pair of B&W P7's yesterday that I found at a great price.

The Y50's were already priced excellently, this is just stupidly cheap. Still, whoever thought the coloured versions were a good idea need their heads checked.

I hope richer bass doesn't mean more bass in comparison to the 450s - there is more than enough in those already.

They are £48 now =]
