The follow up to Akiba's Trip - albeit without the clothes stripping.
Game have slashed the prices from £34.99 and £49.99 yesterday (presumably to match the price of the standard PS4 version at Shopto), but considering the extra goodies you get, I think this is pretty decent value.
If you want just the standard game the cheapest I could find with a quick search was at Base which was £23.85 for the Vita version or £32.99 for the PS4 version.Vita VersionPS4 version
AKIBA'S BEAT is a modern-day satirical spin on a classic Japanese RPG formula. Set in a true-to-life recreation of Tokyo's Akihabara ward (“Akiba” for short), players will take control of a party of characters led by protagonist Asahi Tachibana as they seek to rid the town of anything out of sync with reality.
There are two sides to the gameplay: first, players will wander the streets and question the quirky Akihabara residents on a variety of subjects related to the mystery at hand, ultimately unlocking fantasy-themed dungeons known as “Delusions capes” which are infested with monsters called “delusions.” These delusions are encountered on the map and fought in a party-based action battle system, putting players' skills to the test and creating a uniquely challenging experience that seamlessly blends a real-life locale with the secret delusory world of its residents' true desires.
-Real-time battle system similar to the 'Tales of' series
-Build a team of friends - all with unique skill-sets and enter the minds of the delusional
-Imaginative dungeon worlds based on the delusions of others - from music fans to Idol obsessives
-Customise your crew with clothes and accessories bough from stores in Akihabara
-Explore Akihabara in a perfectly mapped 1:1 version of this legendary discrict
-Incredible art and animation with characters brought to life using 2D Live
-Combine special and normal attacks in time to the music for increased damage
-Save your most powerful attacks for the chorus for massive damage!
-Create your own custom weapons from hundreds of items gathered across the town
