Do not be tempted to buy this keyboard. It is utter stink. It has a sort of polyphony i.e. you can sometimes press more than one key at a time, but only in certain combinations.

If you press a certain combinatation of keys i.e. every 5th together then it goes completely silent except for a loud 'circuity' noise.

It's truly pants, it really is. Don't waste your money, no matter how much you think you're getting for so little.

You WILL regret it!

Amazing - where did you did that quote up from! It must've been from a few years back. I saw this tonight and felt compelled to ward off the innocent buyers from wasting their £15 quid.

Yep, it's pants given that you can't press certain combinations of keys together. It's plain broken tech.

Sorry to hear sickofthesea ordered one...I guess he'll have something else to be sick of...

He He. Nice one!

Oh well. Your warnings came too late, but thanks anyway. I just wanted a cheap thing to learn on, something that I could leave onboard ship whilst at home on leave and not worry about being stolen or broken (maybe that would be a godsend??). I can't play but always wanted to learn. I'll be picking notes out very slowly at first! Once the need for playing two notes at once comes up I guess I'll have to buy another!

The specification is missing whether its machine washable or not. There are some excellent piano tutorials on youtube by the way. I'm trying to learn myself.

In case anyone hasn't realised this akita keyboard is a toy keyboard with annoyingly adult styling. Its specification would better suit a fisher price type case. Even Bontempi would probably turn their nose up at this thing.
now you just need the human league in to advise you
sickofthesea might prefer this one. Its polyphony works properly.

Thank you.
So how can you play chords if it can only do one key at a time? Is it really that bad? I think secondhand from the local paper is the way to go Sickofthesea. Kids often get given half decent keyboards and a few years later after they've hardly been played their sold on for a fraction of the price.
nice find
AT the price, the stand might be a good buy for people with home studios?

Just give the keyboard to charity or gumtree for £5-£10?

Good find OP..

Also, great christmas pressie for younger kids!! :stocking:
Managed to cancel my order and get a refund! I'm now going to get one of those Fisher Price ones instead!
