If you're self-employed or work for a firm who have membership you can, think some council workers get membership cards too

Akura are rubbish, I bought a 20" lcd last year from makro and I`ll never buy akura again!

Am tempted to pick this up as a 2nd TV for the lounge (got a 46" Samsung on the wall) for the missus to watch Eastenders on.... can't find any reviews though!

My hubbie has just plugged this in our Annexe and sound and picture very good! Well worth the money. Includes Freeview, and HDMI.

that is hot, working for Trafford council finally might have some perks

I can honestly say i have 2 akura lcd tv's and the pic quality is good on both. The only thing that would stop me from buying this brand again is the slow response times when switching it on and changing channels. Although most tv's are not super quick when changing channel.

Update - our one is absolutely perfect and ideal for our annexe! I had to pick up another one today for a colleague at work. Well good value!

NB Hubbie didn't think response times were slow on this TV and he worked in TV/Audio..
