Al Murray's gloriously un-PC Pub Landlord puts the world to rights with his lager fuelled philosophies, in hit sitcom TIME GENTLEMEN PLEASE. The series sees the Guv, and assorted pub regulars, muse on topics such as foreigners, religion, food, sexuality, history and loads of other deep subjects... like crisps. This collection includes all 37 episodes from the sitcom's two series.

Not an uber-bargain admittedly but the cheapest so far - and I have wanted this so much, for so long, I don't think I can resist any longer!
Although it goes against many years of bargain-spotting, it has to be done.
Now!

Why thank you for your unconstructive and pointless post.
If it was cheaper at Play, then fair enough - but its not.

"About the same price" = not as cheap, = not the same price, = more expensive.

Hmm? Don't wet your pants dvdvicar, I was simply pointing out that your fantastic bargain was also available elsewhere (admittedly for a few pence more) without the need for some people to register their details with another website.

Just relax and chill out. As the Guv himself would say... "It's not normal!!" :p

Don't flatter yourself - I hardly consider replying to your post as "wetting my pants"!

I can't sleep - looking for something to do - no more than that.

And the sarcastic crack about the "fantastic bargain" is worthless as well - read the OP.

Al Murray is just not funny in my opinion. Can't stand the guy. Sorry, just my opinion, it's gone "HOT" some people obviously like him. Each to their own.

Totally agreed. This has to be one of the most unfunniest sit coms going. His stand up act is marginally better but still dross. Much prefer Harry Hill.

Just my 2p worth re. the "Is Al Murray funny or not" debate.

Personally, I thought the 'Audience With' and other live shows were good but this sitcom was absolutely terrible. On the 'Horne & Cordon' scale of ultimate badness I'd rate it as 'almost as bad as Horne and Cordon' - so VERY bad.

If you're thinking of buying this sitcom I'd say try and see an episode first. You may well decide against it ...

Don't you think your comment:

applies to ANY sitcom complete series you may consider buying with no prior knowledge?

To those who have posted here, commenting on their dislike of this show, just out of interest, stand up and say if you merely posted a comment, or voted cold also - just to satisfy my curiosity.

I didn't vote hot or cold because my opinion of the show is irrelevant to whether or not this is a good price.

As for your other point, the thing I was trying to make clear is don't buy this sitcom on the basis that you like Al Murray - The Pub Landlord in his live shows.

I take my hat off to you for your candour - thank you. That's the way it should be - no sign of Tara Pillocking Smythe anyone?

Can I buy you a pint?

Top notch price, Al murray is a funny guy, some find him funny, some don't, its the same with other comedians, i bought this when it was £22.50 and still haven't got rid of it.

A pint for the fella and a fruit based drink for the ladie.

What are you doing comparing Horne & Cordon to Al Murray. They are not in the same league, at least Al writes his own material.

I rate Time Gentleman Please as a classic along with Bottom and Ideal.
Phil Daniels was great in this, I've seen all his movies and comedies, a pity that he is now in East Enders.

"You can take the Horne and the Corden and all that other rubbish I have to watch and you can stuff them right up your ar5e"

"Weekender" anyone?

I only just realised who Horne & Cordon are - fancy comparing Al Murray to them!!!!

I consider myself to be at the very least, averagely intelligent, articulate and possessing a modicum of good taste. IMHO after watching the Brit Awards and a little of their “comedy” show, I think Horne & Cordon should never be allowed on TV ever again unless in Gavin & Stacey (having said that, after the Christmas edition I’m not too sure if that hasn’t run its course).
