AKA "the mug's eyeful", as he used to describe the "hifi" equipment he sold before he got into computers. Made to look the part, but crap inside.

What has this guy actually ever invented? The Amstrad was a rubbish computer that introduced zero innovatons. Creepy rich a**hole.

Bought his Labour Lordship, your Lordship. Green will be next to buy his Conservative Lordship.
They can spend their money as they wish, but should not be able to buy Law making positions. It's wrong; it makes me sick.

I think you are confusing the term entrepreneur with that of the occupation of an inventor.

The Amstrad CPC range introduced computing into many households that would normally not be able to avoid it (due to the pricing of the established market competitors).

He & his organisation at the time may not have moved the technology forward (apart from cost-cutting in production lines due to the introduction of different materials) but he certainly advanced the general public's acceptance & ultimate adoption of home computing.
